102" Inch CB Ham Radio Antenna Stainless Steel Whip

As title says. Ive hit so many different things with this antenna. Had it installed to a plastic bumper and ground was bad... put a bonding wire made just for rf to the frame: works PERFECT now. [Came in a pvc pipe... well packaged, not bent] I bend it quite often... nothing extreme... hasnt snapped.

It’s long and pretty flexible. Probably best for a base station but I have this attached to the bumper of my van. If you do this, be careful because the antenna will lean back in the wind as you drive and it may slap the body of your vehicle if you make sudden turns or stops.

I have this 102 whip on my quad 6 with 250 watt kicker. I finally can shoot skip from Michigan I’m being heard in north Carolina , Alabama, Georgia.

Very nice antenna. This antenna is adjustable with set screws. Excellent quality and was shipped quickly in a pvc tube. Update : Aug 2019. Antenna has held up really well. I use it as a base antenna with 2 ground plane wires made from thick speaker wire. #4 copper ground wire going down to grounding rods connected to house ground. swr 1.2 channel 1 and goes down 1.0 from channel 17 through 40.

Not according to description. There is no way to adjust the length. How can you tune it?
