Airstream: America's World Traveler

Growing up with Airstreams in the 60’s I love the pics and history! However there are a few glaring inaccuracies but feel most would not pick up on. Recommend!

Not just a picture book but a concise history. It is well written, and informative, and a good read. This could be use in a MBA class.

This is a beautiful book that I purchased as a gift, however, the package in which it was delivered did not protect the book and was slightly damaged upon delivery.

“Restoring an Airstream” is a better book for the person buying or restoring an Airstream, but this book wets the appetite for wanting to own one.

This is a great book on the history of Airstreams. Both my husband and I have enjoyed reading it.

Interesting read but it's a little overly-corporate in its delivery in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen more detail given to the design features of some of the trailer models (inspirations, creative process, etc) and the camping experience of an Airstream trailer. There's a lot more pages devoted towards corporate earnings, sales figures and CEOs than I cared for and very little on the actual camping experience. The early history on the founder and how the company started was interesting and there are a lot of great photos (mostly marketing materials) but I probably wouldn't recommend this book.

Giving as gift but I love it too, even though I don't have an Airstream. Great history and photos. Beautiful coffee table book.
