Wow!
I found this brand recommended on a forum discussion about replacement lock options for their firearm security cabinet. This thing fits my Stack-on/Sentinel cabinet absolutely perfectly. When I ordered it, I was a little worried it wouldn't fit, as some of these, mine included, have the lock recessed slightly into the door. My worries were unnecessary. The thing couldn't fit better if it was custom made. The knob is solid machined aluminum, anodized black, and looks really good. It's reeded surface make it easy to turn against the weight of the 2"x5" steel plate cam on the other side. The only downside is that its tapered shape makes it difficult to use to pull open the door the way you could with the key it was replacing, so I had to install a handle above it as the door is flush fitting and there was nothing else to pull on. I probably could have used a nylon strap or something, but I had a black drawer pull lying around, so I used that, and it looks nice.Compared to having to go dig out the key every time I need to get in the cabinet, the combo lock is great. Some might say that a three digit combo isn't exactly secure, but given that it's replacing a wafer lock, I think its actually a step up. Yes, someone will eventually brute force the combination by trying them one by one, but the previous lock could be picked in about five seconds by someone who knows what they're doing too. The point isn't to keep someone nefarious completely out, it's to slow them down enough that they're less likely to risk taking the time. I don't have a family at home, so I don't need to worry about a bored and curious person with far more time than a burglar playing with it until it opens either. This is to keep casual visitors out more than anything. I wouldn't have bought a cheap steel cabinet if my security needs were greater. I highly recommend this to any other Stack-On/Sentinel owners who need to replace their lock due to a broken or lost key, or just don't want to deal with them anymore. I can get into my cabinet in seconds now as opposed to several minutes before, and locking up when I'm done is almost instantaneous.

Works perfect
Got this to replace the unlockable knob on my truck bed's storage bin (2021 Ford Maverick). Took a little shaving down of the truck box, but this went in perfect and I can now lock that box with a code. Great extra parts that come with it made it easy to install.

Excellent solution to replace standard key core.
As an educational technology administrator, I prefer to give my staff combinations instead of keys; it's just easier to manage. I had a first generation Earthwalk cart I refurbished recently and wanted to replace the keyed lock with this combi-cam. It worked nearly perfectly. It's a little tricky to get everything just right on carts like this, but just a little metal bending on the arm - and it came with several that were of different configurations, which is great - got me where I needed to be. It's substantive and solid, so I'm a big fan. I think on metal applications like mine, significant torque could probably wrench the thing out of place, so use significant pressure to install the back nut. The included wood-mount clawgrip might even be helpful, but I went without. I think it's a great little unit and I'm really happy with the installation!

I purchased these to replace the ubiquitous CH-751 locks that most RV's have on their compartment doors. My main problems with these locks are that 1) they take on dirt very easily and (2) that you can't "close" the latch unless you lock the compartment. These Combination locks are a very nice replacement for this purpose. They are very well made, solid, and appear to be well made. Their construction prevents the intrusion of dirt, though I may add the "covers" later, just to be extra safe. Even though the combination is only 3 digits, I don't think that anyone would have the time to all try 999 combinations in a campground without attracting some attention! The locks are also very flexible in how they are installed. Because you can define your own combination, it's easy to make the locks consistent for all compartments. They also have a plate with "teeth" on the inside, which "bite" into the door and give extra protection against "forcing" the lock. And, most important for me, you can turn the latch to be open or closed without having to "lock" the knob. I've subtracted 1 star because the shaft that drives the locking latch is just a little smaller than the "standard" of the cam locks that are on the RV (which I thought were an industry standard). This means that if you need to use a latch from an existing lock (as I did), rather than one supplied with this lock, it won't fit snugly and leaves the latch moving more than it should. This could lead to the latch not catching and locking properly. I solved this problem with a paper clip (yes, really!), which I cut to length and formed into an "L" shape to fill the gap. It was a bit fidgety to install, but I am very happy with the result.

What a great idea.
I had no clue this even existed until I saw it on Amazon. It’s a perfect fit. Works well and I never have to fumble for keys anymore when trying to open the tv basement.

Broke while setting the code
I really wanted this to work so I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting my tool box key at work, but as I was setting the code (holding the bottom button and setting my desired numbers) the lock made a small pop and none of the number dials work anymore.
