It’s plastic. But worked well. Held the umbrella up for most of the day on the beach. Just enough shade. Good value for the money.

This product does exactly what you need it to do. Manually drill an anchor into the sand for an umbrella at the beach or park. Well built and will last several seasons as long as you use a reasonable amount of force when twisting into the sand or dirt. It does not take a crazy amount of effort to get it started, so apply some downward pressure with a twist and it will get started pretty easily. Very light weight and fits easily into the beach bag or beach wagon. Good value.

Ok, at first I was like we dont need this, however we got to the beach and it was perfect for our umbrella! Made beach life easy! I cant beleive I waited this long to get one of these. If you go to the beach this is a have to have for umbrellas! Now I keep it in my beach tote for year after year. YOU NEED THIS!

We had one of these we had purchased years ago at the beach. It works so well that I wanted another one for our second umbrella. This one is larger and longer than our old one and does a fantastic job of holding our umbrella in the sand - even on windy days. It's light enough that it doesn't add much to the weight of all the other stuff we lug to the beach. I'm glad I purchased it.

I took this to the beach on a very windy day and really didn’t expect it to work as well as it did. My umbrella blew inside out but it didn’t leave the sand and fly away. Highly recommend.
