Great little cam, excellent customer service.
This is the 3rd webcam I’ve purchased since The great work-from-home era began last spring. Finding a good one that isn’t way over priced bas been a real adventure. This one was more than I really wanted to spend too, but it seems worth the price, at least on 2021 terms. The picture is great, and the color rendering and auto exposure is the best I’ve ever seen on a webcam, and the mic sounds nice and full. I also really appreciate the ability to choose a couple of different aspects. Really nice touch.I also want to just say thanks to Anker for their incredible customer service. The first camera I ordered got lost in the mail. USPS claimed they delivered it, but they absolutely never delivered it. USPS’s response was a collective shrug. Like it was astonishing how little they cared. I reached out to Anker expecting I may just be out of luck, but Ada, the service rep was so kind and helpful. Once it was clear USPS wasn’t going to do anything she shipped me a new one immediately. The most pleasant customer service experience I’ve had in awhile. Thanks Anker and thanks Ada!I buy a lot of Anker products. They work great, are built well and fairly priced. And it turns out their people are great too. Makes it easy to keep buying Anker products.

A Fantastic Product.
This camera is actually really fantastic. I replaced my Logitech 920 with this. The C920 my be the classic everyone goes to and one ive had for years but it is slow, grainy and terrible. This webcam however is great with lighting, picture quality and can be used at 60 fps. The FOVs are really nice, though i use the closest one as i stream and my green screen isnt an entire wall. With my C920, even with good lighting, id still get lots of shimmering and the green coming in and out when i move around on camera with color keying. It was lretty annoying. With this Anker C300 (why similar names?) I dont have that problem and i didn't even have to adjust any sliders after just selecting Color Key in SLOBS. It was perfect. What got me the other day though that realky made me go wow was that i was streaming without key lights and such, just using natural daylight and overtime it got darker of course and i mean like real dark, sun already set and i look at my screen and see that even in this dark, little to no light room im in, my green screen is still color keyed out perfectly. The lowlight on this webcam is fantastic. I once foolishly thought id have to get a mirrorless or DSLR camera to hook up as a webcam to get an amazing picture but i was wrong. Definitely recommend this.

Good camera but autofocus struggles
The media could not be loaded. I teach group fitness classes in a small room so I need a wide angle webcam. This one was recommended by a couple of fitness websites as being a decent camera, and for $99 I figured it would be worth trying. I like the picture quality and the fact that it had auto focus and was pretty much plug and play. My image is clearer and looks good in recorded videos. It did take a few minutes for my computer to find and register the webcam. Long enough that I was concerned it wasn't going to work properly, but it connected and I got it working. The biggest issue I have is the auto focus seems to be pretty laggy and glitchy. I'm in a small room, and if I move to the side to grab weights then step back to the center, it struggles to keep me in focus and takes a few seconds to find me again and clear up the picture. Not a good thing when I'm teaching a class like cardio kickboxing where I'm moving around quite a bit. I'll use this one for now but I'm going to keep looking for something else.

Interesting Experience
I purchased this webcam because my husband and I are needing it for pre-birth classes that are virtual. My husband opened it and plugged it in via usb-c into the back of his PC. Nothing happened even after downloading the software. So it comes with a usb-A adaptor. He plugged that in and the entire computer shuts off. This happened several more times. At this point we really weren't sure what to do. So he tries it on his laptop and nothing at all happens. At this point he looks for answers with the motherboard manufacturer as to why it would shut off the entire system. The manufacturer told him that this is a safety feature when the motherboard senses electrical harm.My husband decided instead of just sending it back to amazon we would contact Anker directly. He was assisted by Karen who was amazing in this entire process. She was able to talk to the engineering team at Anker and this is a new problem they hadn't run into. So they requested we send the damaged one back for their engineers to examine and they would ship us a new one. The new one arrived two days later and works perfectly. The quality is exactly what we expected. For the price 1080p 60hz is quite good and we have no complaints. The autofocus is fast and accurate and the follow feature is amazing for a webcam.
