I recently got to try this out at my sister house. I asked her where did she get her toilet seat. Yes, on Amazon. I immediately ordered one. But guess due to the holiday, prime orders are taking much longer. So I finally received it today, and immediately installed it. Definitely read directions to know how to install it. It’s definitely sturdy & secures nicely. I love the comfy seat.

Good seat. Mine came without hardware. Unable to attach and already removed old seat leaving me unable to use the toilet for deuces, and that makes me sad. That's my only me time!

I bought this seat in March of this year 2023. I love it. I bought it for my RV porcelain toilet. The seat is solid and the cushion is perfect. Since installation it has not lossened at all! The metal hinge has not allowed the seat to slide. It has stayed in place for 7 months. It looks great. The hole is a little small. But works. About 2 weeks ago the seat started splitting. I sent them an email for a warranty replacement a few days ago. The warranty is for 1 year when you purchase. They responded the next day. I sent pictures and proof of my purchase from Amazon. I received and email today letting me know that they are sending a replacement. It was an easy process and they responded quickly. I highly recommend buying this toilet seat. It is great quality and comfortable. The installation was easy. The metal hinges stay tight, never loosen, and it is easy to clean. The best padded toilet seat I found. Great value. And the price is great!

It feels a little odd writing a glowing review for a toilet seat, but here I am—and for good reason. I’ve had this Mayfair Padded Toilet Seat with Chrome Hinges for nearly a year, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it’s held up. At such a low cost, I expected something temporary, but it’s outlasted other seats I’ve paid more for. The soft vinyl padding still looks great, the chrome hinges haven’t loosened or corroded, and it’s remained secure and comfortable through daily use. For something you don’t think about much, this seat delivers comfort and resilience in a way that’s surprisingly worth writing home about. I’ll definitely buy another when the time comes—but based on how well this one’s lasted, that may not be any time soon.

It is a nice seat but it's not designed like other ones I've used. This seat does not fit a standard Glacier Bay toilet. One of the bolts will not catch on to the nylon nut shaft because of the toilet stem.

I had my doubts. My grandmother had these padded seats and I did not have fond memories of using them, but for my master bath (away from everyone else) it honestly feels nice for my back after surgery. The toilet that came with my house is a round Champion 4 (high performance, short nose toilet) and I’m not replacing the whole thing right now to accommodate my height. For now, this padded seat feels thick, durable, sterile, and not liable to shred when my cat runs around and parkours off the toilet. I’m satisfied that this toilet seat is worth the money and solid as a rock (no wiggling; then again, I had a plumber install it, so…). My final word is that the whole thing has a higher profile than I imagined. It’s not bad, at all. That is open real estate in my house, and a thick toilet seat will take up space, so whatever… but it’s worth noting that the whole thing stands out. Combined with a bidet attachment, my toilet looks like it can handle a spacewalk around the ISS.

I recently moved into a seniors, Retirement Residence. I usually like to purchase a new toilet seat when I move into a new residence. Since I am disabled and elderly, I decided to purchase a toilet seat that would be more comfortable for me. I did a lot of searching on Amazon and read loads of reviews on different seats. When I came across the Mayfair Padded Toilet Seat, the reviews were quite positive. I was a little concerned about getting it, because I do have a cat, and she likes to jump up on the toilet seat and watch me while I’m doing my hair in the morning. So I was concerned that her claws may puncture the seat even though I do keep them clipped on a regular basis. However, after much thought, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Mayfair Padded toilet seat and give it a try. It was a great choice. I absolutely love this toilet seat and I am really happy that I purchased it. It was easy to install. It is very comfortable to sit on, and is showing no signs of wear and tear from either me or my kitty. It’s easy to clean. You just need to wipe it down with a gentle cleaner. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the old wooden toilet seats again. I’m very happy with my purchase, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Mayfair Padded toilet seat to anyone.

Foam is very thin and can feel wooden base underneath.

I have had several cushioned toilet seats & this one is the best I've had. Well constructed. I am expecting it too last a long time. Very comfortable. They are known to crack although I've never had that happen. They are especially good for ladies who have just had a baby & people who have had surgery. Be sure to measure ur toilet before u order. I would definitely recommend this seat. PS The dragon fly decal I put on. The seat is all white.

Even though the item was delivered with a rip in the seat, I have bought this product multiple times in the passed and has lasted approx 2 years. As for the rip, the return process was simple and ordered a new one.
