Of course it's a Steiff.
I bought two, one for my brand-new great-granddaughter and one for my almost born great-granddaughter. I think it is just the right size for a new baby and has the reputation of quality. A cuddly toy for mine, it has to be a Steiff.

Very soft bear for young child
It is a lovely soft bear with pretty features. Unless you specifically require the Steiff branding I'm sure you could buy an equally well made bear, although it was well received by the parents of the child.

Unevenly stuffed.
One leg is thinner than the other! Obviously very disappointed. The quality is NOT AS GOOD as previously bought bear a few years ago. Why use beads for stuffing in addition to the soft stuffing material? Will purchase another brand in future. So sad that quality no longer seems to matter.
