Definitely good information. Well laid out. No one wants to think of these situations but they do happen. Be prepared know what to do. Your life your loved ones and your friends lives may depend on it.

Good review of trauma identification and treatment for all EMS professionals. Good chest injury identification and treatment instruction. Highly recommended.

I am a layperson, not an EMT, paramedic, etc. I recently took a TCCC class. I purchased this book afterwards. I am still reading through it but it seems to be consistent with everything taught in the class. Seems to be up to date. It is concise and the formatting is good. Text size could be a little bit larger but I don't find it uncomfortable to read. While I like and would recommend this book, I suggest you also read the reviews from credentialed medical professionals to see what they think. Finally, while a good book is better than nothing, definitely get classroom and/or field training from a qualified source if at all possible.

This is the kind of book it's good to have in paperback of with a pdf download option.

This was a birthday gift for younger brother who's interested in survival and preparedness. I skimmed through it before I wrapped it, it seems like great info. I think I'll eventually buy a copy for He liked it a lot, and started reading it immediately.

I did not enjoy the graphic amputation it could have been a drawing not the literally picture but it is a military book so it is what it is.
