ViewSonicM1+_G2 Smart LED Portable Projector with Harman Kardon® Speakers

For its size and price, it is awesome, even the battery life is great. Sound is quite good too, ok, you don't have too much bass but considering the size of it it performes quite well.The image is great, up to about 80inches is acceptable, bigger than that I would not recommed it. The colors are very vibrant, resolution could be better but,still impressive. The darker the room the better of course, but also here I can say even if you have just a dimmed room you will still have a great image. Outdoor only in the night is kind of ok....I hope it helps.

Was bought from the returns warehouse so wasn't expecting a few marks but the built in battery wought not hold a charge so this is probably the reason it was returned in the first place so should not have be resold

It is what it says it is (M1+_G2 ie second generation M1) and it is a great little projector but there are some slight issues. Overall no regrets and I'd buy it again but would be nice if they fixed these little things.The good:- Sound is surprisingly good for a small device.- Run the projector without cables.- keystone auto adjust works really well.- great quality even at 100".- Run a firestick off the USB.- good battery life.The bad:- upgrading the firmware was painful because directions on website and screen are incorrect but in essence download onto usb and launch through aptoid.- usb over 32gb not recognised.- use the stock movie player, MX player or VLC and other apps not working even when downloaded through aptoid.- getting apps through aptoid takes a little getting used to and is a little hit and miss.- apps are clunky. I would say you get about 75% functionality which can be very annoying when you can't get to search bar for example.- charge off plug not via USB or other means.

just noticed the inbuilt power source is not functional

I received a used device, and I found out it doesn’t have warranty while it was stating that I can get EXTENDED WARRANTY. I do not recommend it at all

Screen sharing not working

over heating and projecter display off automatically after 5 min but sound coming.

the picture quality, the build and form-factor, the usability and overall satisfaction - all are amazing, so I totally recommend it!and sound is fantastic as well!

Was happy when I got the product and immediately did a screen comparison with a sgd 100 dollars there abouts, cheap projector. Referencing the picture with two projected screen you can see the stronger color difference in the top screen and also how much bigger it is compared to the one in the bottom (which was the cheaper projector). Additionally the size of the viewsonic was 1/4 the size of the cheaper, larger but more lousier projector.Viewsonic projector also comes with a pretty strong speaker so you don't need to fuss about getting external blue tooth speakers and where to position them etc.Has an onboard battery that generally gave me close to 2 hours of use and this flexibility is very important in allowing uses in more situations. For example, I brought it to a resort in tioman but the room didn't have full wifi coverage but thanks to the portable battery, I could move it all around to find a best location to project it towards the most empty portion of the wall with the best wifi connectivity.Why have wifi connectivity when there is hotel / resorts with TV? Well basically, depending on where you stay, having a TV that has netflix/prime is never guaranteed, but once you have something as portable as the viewsonic m1, you can project netflix/prime in any place you stay at pretty good sizes (you are literally bringing a latest TV around with you).Some cons however that resulted in it not getting the full 5 stars. Auto keystone, only works in the vertical axis and not the horizontal axis. This means that if you want your imagine to be fully square, you must always protect perpendicular to the wall. To examplify, lets say u are lying on your bed and the wall is in front of you. If you want your picture to be fully square, you MUST find a way to place the projector along the middle line of the bed. It can be at the foot of the bed, or past the headboard of the bed, but it will always need to be in the middle. If you put the projector on either side of the bed and want to project the screen with the screen within the width of the bed, then it will be tilted with one side (either the left or the right) being longer then the other. As the projector does have vertical keystone however, there is zero issues for deciding if u wanna put the device on the floor or a stand and project towards the wall or even ceiling.Also in the end the device is going to project maximum of 420p, which is low and even more obvious the bigger the screen it creates. Nonetheless, as you are probably sitting further back the bigger the screen is, the pixelation is not as obvious but if you want to find issue with it and stare up close, you will see it.The onboard app is not fully a android app with access to the Google app store so that is slight app incompatiblity issues, but this can be addressed with a chromecast although you must make sure that internet connection / access points work perfectly (this is for set up of chromecast itself). The onboard apitode does still work and have Netflix and prime, but not as perfect in running.One more con is that the buttons and the controller provided are not the best for navigating the menus of the device, but thankfully they have a virtual remote control on an app that can be linked to the device so it can be circumvented in that manner and is reasonably fine to navigateOverall I am happy with my buy at that price point and with all the capabilities it brought me in terms of allowing me to enjoy a high enough quality viewing experience in any place that I stay in the future as long as there is a stable internet connectivity

Compact , no nonsense projector for day to day use ...set up is easy though some book let with set up instructions and adjust picture quality , use of remote control etc .,would have made initial set up very easy... can expect big picture for home say like 100 inch TV,Picture quality is excellent but need dark room without tubelight, the speakers are excellent and sufficient for a large room say 40 X40 ft ...mobile app based remote is available but for initial operations physical remote is required but company website is silent on this .. ...HDMI cable , USB Type A are working... though Type C port is available but not able to connect to Laptop based output so far ...can connect to Wi Fi for using Youtube ,Netflix or BBC or any online website ....wireless mouse is required for navigation ... not sure about service centers

Projector battery stopped working after 1 month and customer service is of no use

Not at all satisfied with there service.they have no one to guide you about this product . Called them several times on there customer care no but of no use . Spending this much money one can go for Benq instead of this product. Very poor service.
