I never leave reviews but for this I feel I need to !! This but far is the best weed eater head I ever owned an Ive owned a lot ! I have two sons that don’t wanna weed eat an they are pure hell on heads an look for any reason to say it don’t work an with this they can’t! It’s unbelievable simple ! But it works oh my does it work .. the people who leave bad reviews I’m gonna say are installing it wrong or maybe their brand has reverse threads who knows but I have a echo it bolted right up took 5 min an I was up an running ! This is brilliant no more slinging line out wasting money an time by reloading this smashes the line so it can’t sling out simple unscrew it take old line out an add more .. you can use regular line as well don’t have to buy special line an can use bigger gauge which will last even longer !! Very pleased love it!!

So far it’s tough enough. Glad to have a quick load head for my curved shaft. The price is a little steep for what it is, so I took off a star. However, it is MUCH better than the tri-strung quick load I bought previously. Much sturdier.

Relatively simple setup. For being so cheap, it's surprisingly a durable product so far. Refill lines are a little pricey, but overall happy with not having to respool or bump the head. I can trim my whole property 2-3 times before changing the line. Might last longer with the thicker black line refills, currently using thiner red line.

First, the design concept is simple, seems like a great idea, but -1. It would not fit my Troy-Bilt TB22, which requires a 3/8-24 nut not supplied in the kit.2. The item has a large counter bore and will not center itself when mounting.3. I tried three types of line and the kit's cap nut will not hold them securely in place.4. The death knell, is the cap nut constantly loosens and falls off.I recommend you try something else and avoid the aggravation of constantly looking for the cap.

Just an FYI this unit does not work with the Liwe's Kobalt 80v weed eater. There are several issues which prevents it from working. 1) the original Kobalt head gas the threaded (nut) molded. 2) the stack up of pieces don't work anyway. Being an engineer and being desparate I re-engineered it, modified it, purchased a nut. I had to drill the spacer deeper as the shaft was in between where I needed it.

Much easier to use than I thought

I am probably one of the few people who miss the old bump and go line trimmers. I find all the new string trimmer loading methods to be frustrating and overly complicated.This works great. Remove your old trimmer head. Slide on the base with a nut in the middle, tighten it up. Cut some trimmer line and put it through the holes on the sides, screw it onto the base. No bumping, no winding. Very low tech but it works very well. Trimmed my whole yard, including edging, which tends to eat up line, and didn’t have to replace any line. Highly recommended.

So much easier to reload string. That was the one reason I bought this product. I got cheap, and bought a $90 trimmer. As soon as the first length of string was gone, I knew I made a mistake. This product ddf ones the job. Pay attention to how you install it it makes a difference. If you are frustrated with the reload string thing, this may work for you.

Brought one of these and it destroyed itself within minutes!The arrows for loosing and tightening point in the same direction. Its clearly made in china produced cheap with cheap materials and sold for a high price that doesn't justify the product!Its a huge shame as it is a great invention and much better than the conventional fitting but unfortunately the manufacturing process has let it down!Ill be resorting back to the old type until its improved.

Excellent product saves you loads of time when reloading instead of having to fiddle around winding strimmer line. Easy to fit onto my Ryobi brushcutter and cuts much more efficiently saving fuel and therefore money. Recommend to anyone.
