Very easy to put on. Covered the hole, once painted blended in very well.
We found a hole in the siding that a ball or something hit it. Was easy to put on and once painted blended in nicely. Would recommend it for small patch up things

Perfect
I'm no tradesman but fitted these patches over a couple of holes in the cladding for my caravan. Unless your standing right on top of it you can not see the patch at all

Here's what I did...
We found this product on a video someone had shared and had to figure out two things before buying:1) is the price where I'm able to take a shot at this fix without making it irreversibly worse and without costing so much that I could potentially deeply regret it? It was right in the sweet spot; and I found the alternative costs to be way more. Hundreds for replacement, or self-loathing for doing nothing.2) My realistic expectations: how close do I need this to look really good from, and will this get me there? My number was 8 feet, and from what I read, I decided yes, it would. We were dealing with several 1/4 to 3/4 inch holes in several different long runs of siding along the side of the house, and one larger one near the gutter. It would have taken replacement of at least 4 separate panels which is the worst option other than leaving it un-repaired. The application was easy, although I can't imagine not understanding how to use this. The color was so close that we almost didn't bother painting it, but having watched the video, I naturally went for it. The attached picture shows the before and after of the first fix we did, which happened to be the largest hole we had near the gutter. The results were even better on the later applications because I finally remembered to actually feather the paint properly. I attached photos of my very first attempt because it's probably the fairest representation of an average Joe doing this with no experience... even that attempt came out great, and is barely noticeable from more than a few feet away; and it got even better from there. Something to note: Don't expect a heavy, thick application. I think the lines would be way too prominent if it were thick anyway; and this made the painting a breeze. On a larger hole, I feel like I would use plumber's putty on the hole, sand it dead smooth, then apply the Mendyl... then there would be no depressions visible in the least. Maybe the seller can say if this would be ok to do with the product; but it's certainly not necessary, you can see in the photo it's barely visible, and that was our largest hole. We experienced no edge curl-up, no insufficient adhesion, and super important, no poorly machined pieces with bad edges. And as I write this, all applications have had no adverse reaction to cold or warm weather, nor the rain, nor the hose (its durability was my number one concern going in, and it's evident that it's just part of the house now and isn't going anywhere). I will update the review if this changes. If you are considering replacement because of small to medium sized holes in your vinyl... definitely reconsider. I'm not sure why someone would dish out unnecessary money to replace siding when you can just patch the hole with this to remove the weather vulnerability... paint it so it looks nice to visitors, yourself and your neighbors, and spend your siding money on something else more exciting than siding, which is almost literally anything else. You have to decide for yourself, but for me... I like it, I wish I thought of it, and I suppose I would recommend it to a friend... most of them at least. The rest of them don’t deserve my recommendations :)

Easy to use but can tell there’s a patch
It was easy and very fast to apply. However, would have hoped it was thinner, like a ‘second skin’, so the demarcation of the patch wasn’t as obvious up close. Once painted to match siding colour, looks great at least further away. Look forward to seeing its durability after a harsh CDN winter.

Temporary fix, easy to use
We wanted to temporarily repair two holes on our vinyl siding while trying to find the original siding and color to get a full repair. House is nearly 17 years old, so not confident we'll find a piece to match and fit. So, until we hunt the best option down, we thought we'd try this patch. Very easy to paint and apply (make sure to watch video). Unfortunately, the sheet doesn't fully cover the width of our siding, so I think it is more noticeable. Also: I rubbed the patch fairly well and only a tiny bit of the wood grain came through. Could be that I didn't match the paint color exactly either, but it's darn close. Fairly noticeable when standing within a few feet of the patch. Far less noticeable when standing 6 feet away. Again, this is a temporary fix and for that, I say it does what it says.
