If you suffer from SAD during horrible winter days and not only then these blue emitting lights are perfect. I’ve always heard about the great benefits of these lights from various friends who also suffer but never kind of ventured out to try it. Luminette Drive is a sleek light that gives you 3 different strengths of light but simply pressing the button to change it. Super easy to use - you are meant to pop it on your car visor and use whilst you drive.Here’s the thing I want to say - the wording is not the best in the headlight for this item - Improve your sleep while driving your car! Think this really needs looking at. You can use this light whilst driving your car and this in turn will help with better sleep and feeling a lot better. I tried using this in my car but felt this light personally distracting so I installed it above my desk at the home office and I use it whilst I am working. I must say I feel a lot better and less down ever since using it. I think the real test will come during winter periods when you don’t see any daylight in my case other than at the weekends. So far so good though, Luminette Drive is really handy, easy to use straight out of the box and it looks sleek and one that will last for years. You can charge it with USB port or by popping it into the cigarette socket.

For someone who has suffered with S.A.D (seasonal affective disorder) for quite a number of years, i have been constantly searching for a product that is easy to use, practical and gives the feeling of natural light/sun, i have to say this product meets all 3.So many other products just arent practial, its hard to know where to put them and be able to use them, the big indoor lamps are ugly and take up a lot of space. This product is great, you can use it going to work, shops or just out for a drive. The 20 mins each day really make a difference especially in winter. The biggest thing for me after its practicality is how natural it feels, the light is the closest to natural sun or light i have had yet, it makes me feel like you are outside on a sunny day and just helps to keep the panic of dark dull days at bay. This product really made a difference to me, it lifted my moods and in turn make me feel more equipped to face the day feeling more energised and positive. I know this product is quite pricey but to me worth every penny. The preduct clips onto your visor and when not in use if you find its in the way can be easily removed. This unit is rechargeable and automatically turns itself off after 20 minutes so no worries about over exposure. Great item that really will improve winters for me.

This Luminette Drive light therapy lamp looked like an exciting product to try. It is mainly because it can be used in the car, nothing something I’ve come across before. Fully charged, I attached it to my sun visor within seconds. The device can easily be adjusted to change the lighting angle. After a week of use driving long distance to work and back in the dull cold weather, I feel the benefits of its therapeutic properties. My mood and energy levels have improved. Monday blues are now in the past. Recommended use is 20mins a day, I like that I can use this device with my glasses on. Battery life is good, it lasts between 8-10 times, depending on the intensity level. Overall, a unique device helps fight those winter blues.

The media could not be loaded. This came extremely well packaged in a smart looking retail box. Open it and inside you have the light, charging cable, strap, dual USB lighter adapter and instructions.The strap that comes with it is designed to go around your sun visor, you can adjust the length of it, and has a strong magnetic plate, which the light attaches to, and you can also adjust the angle of the light. This makes it extremely easy to take on and off.The light itself has a quality look and feel to and is simple to operate. There is a charging port on the side and then one large, blue on/off. You have 3 brightness settings and at the highest, it is very bright. The key to it is the fact that the light output is Blue. Blue light affects the body’s circadian rhythm, our body’s natural wake and sleep. During the daytime, blue light is as bit like a stimulant, helping us stay wake, and mostly comes from the sun. This light then acts like that and stimulates the body.It is extremely easy to use, and I found that on full power, it was a bit too bright for my liking. The two lower settings were better. It does benefit from an auto-shutoff after 20mins, if it is left on, then it is not going to drain the battery.I think that if you were someone who does a lot of driving, particularly during the winter months, then this could be a good device to use.I personally think this is a well-designed and quality piece of tech, but at £149 it is far from cheap.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. The lamp has a very nice and modern design. The lamp is white, of a convenient size that you can always take with you and you can always find a place for it in the car. The kit includes instructions for use. It is very practical, it is very easy and quick to install and use. I bought it because I began to feel that my eyes became more tired. After the first session I felt relief. I advise everyone!
