I use these as heat transfer boards when pressing comics. With one on the bottom and one on the top of the stack in the press. These thicker boards are perfectly flat and their increased weight has provided better overall results.

I place my MacMini and SSDs on this aluminum plate. I use it as a base plate to dissipate the heat generated by the MacMini and the SSD drives. It really works to lower the running temperature of the devices, especially the SSDs. I knock off 1 star because the edge of the plate is not smoothly finished. Overall, it works really well for my purpose.

Metal was excellent. Well protected and nicely cut.
