A teacher recommend it by telling us that if she was only allowed one book, it would be Pierre's Gentle Art of Blessing. I was really intrigued by her claim because she is such a wise, well read lady. I ordered it soon after and have thoroughly enjoyed the simple but credible claim that developing unconditional love for self and others perpetuates the law of attraction.The fact that all royalties from the book go to such an honourable foundation: the Women's World Summit Foundation is also fabulous. This is such a beautiful and inspiring book to read that I keep buying it, only to give it away to one of my friends. It is such a simple idea, and beautifully written. Applying his ideas on blessing have made me more peaceful and loving, and it is such a quick way to feel positive again if I have been caught up in some challenging situations or feelings. Can't recommend it enough.

One of the most magical and powerful books ever written. What happens when we wish someone well or ill. Beautifully written and the reader is reminded to bless themselves too. I have used much of the information contained in this beautiful and yet simple book to make changes in my life and the lives of others. A practice for daily use and for all of ones life .. This book will change your life if you take its simple message and bless everything, including, or especially, the 'bad' stuff.We are in the main, very quick to judge, criticise and complain. All this does as harm ourselves as it puts us in negative mode, which does us a lot of physical & spiritual damage when practised regularly.People have cured themselves of illness by blessing others. A man on death row (who is innocent) transformed his life after being sent the book by the author, even though he is still on death row! Many people have sent money to enable his defence team to get him out of prison. (In the US, they keep people on death row even when they know they are innocent.)Buy this book, read it and start blessing. It doesn't matter if you don't really feel the blessing to be genuine at the start, especially when you bless someone who has said or done something bad to you. Blessing regularly will change how you feel when you do it so that it is heartfelt. It will revolutionise your life.

I had read quite a lot of great reviews for this book when it was initially available and really wanted to get a copy. At last after several years, I have one. Although I wholly support the other reviews about this book, I can't emphasise enough that words cannot describe the impact of this book with its concise, accessible, proactive and above all useable wisdom. It truly is one of those books that needs to be a mandatory read for the world over. You'll know what I mean when you read it. :-)

Has some very good practical advice

I read this book a few years ago and loved it. I recommended it to many friends and then gradually forgot about it. Being faced with a difficult and unpleasant situation at present it suddenly came to mind again and I am immensely grateful to have remembered it. The message of the book is extraordinarily helpful to anyone, but particularly those facing challenges in their relationship with others.

What a wonderful way to look at life. Pierre Pradervand tells the story of his own painful journey to a place of surrender where he discovered a way to find peace and transform negative events by a very simple method of mystical alchemy. This book presents an alternative way to respond to hostile situations and people, without relinquishing power or integrity. I am both challenged and inspired at the same time.

This book gave me a lot of positive insights about my attitude and behaviour. I'm sure I read it a few times and bought copies for good friends. .

Life changing book

There were days while I was reading this beautiful book that my heart would spill over with love and my entire day would be full of “chance” blessings. It was amazing. It is my fervent intention to make blessing a part of the rhythm of my life.
