Not only are they better than expected, they are actually good hinges. They look contemporary in a rugged way; thick, hexagonal barrel with flawless, slightly-pebbled black finish. Machine tolerances are also excellent. The hinge rotates perfectly and there are no rough edges anywhere.One thing to note: the mounting tabs are centered out the edge of the 1/2" barrel, not flush, so you have to leave or create space for barrel diameter.

Got for car project and these are durable well made and the answer for my project luv them very tight fitting no rattling

Secure when you want it to be and easy to take apart when you need it to be. I had to add spacers to mine so they would lay down flush but not a problem.

Used the hinges so they could remove the door covering the bathroom closet shelves.
