This is what you want for miniature storage.
I was looking to make a magnetic storage container for a small warband of resin miniatures and this stuff worked quite well with a single 5x2mm magnet under each miniature. I may double up on magnets, as the current attraction wouldn't quite hold up if dropped from a height. The advantage to this stuff over magnetic sheet is that magnetic sheet's magnetization eventually wears out, and will fail. This sheet will hold up over time, which makes it worth the cost. It's thick, and the adhesive is strong too, so it makes the perfect storage box liner if you're taking the magnetic route. I had magnetic sheet before this, and the force was almost non-existent (meant more for papercrafts). This stuff is just right for miniatures.

Very Sticky Adhesive! But good Magnet Sheets
Work super well, but warning!-- once you stick them to something, they never come off! I use these for keeping star wars legion models in an organized system. I attach little magnets to the bottom of my models and then put them on trays with these magnet sheets and they stick well. They are a good thickness and reasonably priced. Easy to use and adhere to objects.

Works as described!!!!!!
Perfect fit and adhesive for use with A4 9L Really Useful Box. I had to buy three for use in two boxes. One to fit in each box and the last one to be cut to size for remaining space on the bottom of box . Adhesive is perfect. 5mm x 2mm magnets are perfect for small bases . 5mm x 3mm magnets for other bases . Check depth of your bases first before you buy small magnets. This is a flexible steel sheet that will be used for magnets. This is stated in the description. The sheet is not magnetic. It does the job well .

Weak magnetic pull to this
Not usable. The magnets I have, the whole variety of them, have such a weak pull to this that they slide around and off it with little effort.

Exactly what I wanted, a bit weak and fragile.
As the other reviews say, it's important to pay attention to what this product says it is. It is a sheet of material which feels like a big refrigerator magnet but it functions as a magnetic receptive surface. The main downsides to the product are that (1) it is a lot less receptive than, say, an actual piece of steel and (2) it is as fragile as a large refrigerator magnet. Rare earth and other very strong magnets stick really really well, but the flat-style rubber + ferrite magnets need to be fairly large to "stick" very well. The bigger problem is that the substance is "flexible" as advertised, but it will definitely not survive being bent in half. This is especially unfortunate because it came shipped in a padded envelope without any kind of backing material, so it was well on its way to ripping when I unpacked it. I shoved it into a thick book for 24 hours and that seems to have saved it, for now.

Used for Miniatures
I use this to store my magnetized miniatures to transport them. I use this with the really useful box and it fits great. Stopped using my $150 carrying case in favor of the really useful box with this magnetic sheet inside. Works super well.

It's okay wish it was stronger
Wish it was stronger but it works decently

The magnets now stick
This item works to provide a surface for magnets to stick to. I'm not using it as a sticker, just as a mat in a tray (that was supposed to have been steel, but my magnets didn't stick). My setup is tray, mat, map on laminated cardstock, then the magnets with little laminated paper dolls attached. I thought the price was a lot, but I'd never bought something like this.

Keep in mind that these aren't MAGNETIC, they are magnetically-RECEPTIVE. Magnets stick to them, but they don't stick to metal. I was having issues using regular magnetic sheets for my Warhammer mini cases I was making. The minis barely held at all. But these? I can flip it upsidedown and my minis hold perfectly. Have not yet tried with larger units as I'm using these boxes specifically for infantry, but based on the hold on some of my larger plastic infantry I think it'll probably do well, just add some extra magnets probably just to be sure. I have some heavier pewter models but they're not on me so I couldn't test them, but I have a professionally-made A-Case for that stuff anyhow.

THIS is the one. Don't get the poorly magnetized fridge magnet rubber that looks similar but has no metal in it. This has actual metal mixed in with it so you'll always be able to stick magnets to it with a decent hold.

Product was not meeting expectations and was refunded $0.01 after returning it. SCAM

I use this to store miniatures, i tried other company and they all seem to have the same magnet strengths. I use it to store my magnetized miniatures (Warhammer 40k). There is other cheaper choice for the same quality.

So I got this so I could magnetize my tabletop miniatures for easy transport. This works for the reason I purchased it for but not well. And the reason I know it doesn't work well is I have a metal ruler and the magnets adhere to that *much* better than this paper. If you need something like this to transport minis you're better off with double sided tape and a sheet of metal.
