Konosuba Season 1 - Standard Edition [Blu-ray]

This series is absolutely one of the funniest isekais you can possibly get. The comedy and hilarity are almost non-stop as the hero can’t catch a single break while trying to make the best of his life in this new world. The characters are the best at being completely useless with a drunkard goddess, a masochist paladin, and a min-maxed mage who only casts one spell. It’s like watching a group of friends get drunk and play DND. Can’t recommend the series enough

I have watched this particular series, at least 11 times now. very quirky sense of humor, a consistent story line (which is a massive failure I have a hard time forgiving in most things- See Star Trek Discovery if you need an extreme example of this), and it is not afraid to make fun of itself.And the best part for me, when I had watched this, there was nothing quite like it, though that has changed now.This is one that I continually recommend to my friends and family, though it best to keep it away from younger ones, or people with more, shall we say refined sensibilities, as there are some very open BDSM references and an ongoing panty thieving joke throughout the series.

The first season is absolutely amazing. The characters are so likeable and I love how they take a comedic trait behind a character and see how far they can expand and run with it. The humor is not for everyone, but I love how it doesn’t take itself too seriously and uses isekai tropes to it’s advantage. I greatly enjoyed my time with and have been rewatching Konosuba at least every couple of months. In terms of the blu ray itself, does the job well at providing a good HD experience of the show.

One of the funniest and we'll written anime I have ever watched. I have watched a lot of anime, I am on the seasonal anime grind, I watch all the new stuff as it comes out. Konosuba has always stuck with me. I have a rule of never buying anime in season chunks. I am breaking this rule for the first time on this show. I have a ton of anime on Blu-ray. It may seem like a small thing to break, but to me it is huge. It's just one of the great anime.

The case was not broke and the disks did not fall out like a few of my more recent and more expensive purchases.

Overall, an enjoyable series. Stay-in gamer finally elects to leave home to get the new 'hot' game and, on his way home, dies while (ineffectually) doing the heroic thing. He winds up at a holding place between heaven and reincarnation,and opts to try live on a questing world. Offered a choice of skill or weapon to help him, he picked the water goddess Aqua, who's ticked him off. Aqua is not happy.On the other world, the pair set out to become adventurers. This does not go well. He has no weapons, money or skills. Aqua? High levels around except for intelligence. That's...a little low. And then the party grows to include a young Red Demon sorceress who can only use her Explosion magic once a day and a masochistic knight who takes much of what she hears wrong.Perils included very large frogs and flying cabbages.It's a hard life.Overall, a fun watch. HOWEVER I have to cut a star from the review due to (see below)...NOTE: Viewers with kids may want to skip the last couple of chapters. Some partial female nudity, and the male lead has some uncomfortable fantasies when he has to remove a potntially lethal choker from his neck.

Absolutely nothing to complain about with the best Isekai anime ever made. KONOSUBA is pure gold standard with comedy and charm, not to mention the characters are top notch one of a kind. I know most enjoy the original Japanese Sub but KONOSUBA is one of the few ani.e that I love both the sub and Dub just as much. GREAT voice actors and they gave the OVA one the bluray.

It's Konosuba so you know it's going to be good, but if you are unsure and haven't heard of it yet it is one of those anime that you can sit back after a long day and just have some laughs. The characters are all so unique and mesh really well together. Terrific series, hoping the movie gets a bluray release as well as season 2!

This is the funniest Isekai that you’ll ever see, I started by reading the manga which I still prefer, but I always prefer reading the manga than watching the anime. But if you haven’t already seen Konosuba then definitely buy this, it’s hilarious.

As soon as I got it, got the wine out and some herb and enjoyed some laughs to this anime.Classic humor that doesn't get old, even when I know the punchlines in and out its doesn't fail to get a laugh out of me.Some of the best Characters, like Darkness and Megumin, both high tier characters, that are hilarious, well worth the re-watch for the laughs and general good vibes.

Es una lástima que no tenga el doblaje en español latino, por lo qué sería lo grandioso, pero aún así es buena la calidad de vídeo 📹 y audio 🔉Aunque lo que me sorprende más, es que sólo sea un blu-ray el que venga con todos los capítulos incluyendo lobo de la primera temporada.Aprovechando el hot sale del 2021, me salió muy económica la compra de este anime, el cual con el tiempo llegará hacer de culto, sino es que ya lo es en este momento. 🤔

I wanted to watch this series for a while. The disk worked without problems and came faster than expected.
