I have mo problems with this filter. I have seen complaints about the taste of water, smell and sediment. I have not experienced any of these issues. Be sure to follow instructions to the letter, soak and rinse as directed, before using it.

I hate the tap water due to taste so I’ve been buying spring water but this little pitcher removes the taste and smell so it definitely filters! No more wasteful plastic jugs

Use this for our drinking water as we have a well. Have used it for years with no problems, just replace the cartridge each year or so. Inexpensive and gets good reports from Consumer Reports.

my apartment had the worsted tap water I ever tasted, part mold, part chlorine, part I don't even want to know. I have used a number of pitchers and faucet mounted filters and this one isn't as good as some. That said I never started with tap water this bad. It should be noted that ever time I fill up the water pitcher the better the water taste. In the end the water in the fridge right now tastes fine.. I am very happy with the product, it isn't the biggest and may not be the best, but the long filter life is a great value to me. I might get a second one because I am drinking a lot of water now.

My local water is not known for great taste. This fixes it. I used a filter for a whole year for one person and it still tasted brand new. I simply changed just in case.

I really wasted my money buying these filters. One of them fell apart as soon as I opened the plastic wrap and the other doesn't do a good job of filtering tap water at all. It leaves little white bits of something floating in the water and lining the bottom of the pitcher. And yes, I carefully followed the instructions to soak the filter and then dump the first few pitchers full. I'm switching to another brand and a different pitcher.

this filter last about a year. 4 levels of filtration maybe 5...but the water is so great tasting. Crystal quest has a 25dollar pitcher that cannot be beat,,and this is the filter for it. It's been 3 years and I have bought 4..I am into my fourth year so..add it up. This filter is about 15$ and how many of the competition brands filters do you have to buy? one a month at 9$ You do the math..i already did and switched! Good luck!
