As a left-handed person, I’ve struggled to find writing instruments that do not smear, won’t catch and skip, and write smoothly. This pen (I know it’s the refills) is the best pen I’ve ever used. You can use a traditional ball point, but if you need a pen that glides across the page as you push it forward, this is the pen for you. That is why when I found an empty Uni-ball tube while cleaning out my office drawer, I purchased the refills immediately.

I really like the way these write but you gotta make sue and let the ink dry.

I am hooked! These BLX series of gel pens are absolutely beautiful quality for writing. The roller ball is smooth, and the color - with the red and black mix - is quite unique. Neither a bare red (which is usually too glaring a bright color) nor pure black (which would be boring really), the mixed color output looks very nice indeed.I bought them in a 0.5mm Micro ball version, after having tried the 0.7mm, and would be happy with either size. The 0.5mm lays down a thinner width line, so is less "bold", but works just fine for my taste and smears less on some papers (like newsprint ... where I do my daily Sudoku for example).

Finally - can keep using the same pen and just re-fill it. These are hard to find in stores, but this is well worth the nominal price here. The bold, blue-black ink is may favorite to use in writing. As a teacher, I use these up like Kleenex, so this allows me to use my favorite pen and not run out.

Love these pens. The refills work well, but come in black or blue-black. If you need the colorful ink, you have to buy new pens.

I keep the original pans, however replace the cartridges as necessary. Call my small part of reducing a carbon footprint. A very small part, however, an attempt to do the right thing. these pens write so smoothly. forward to handwriting again, which had been a lost art over the last several decades with the use of computers. I find myself wanting to hand, write lists and letters.

Uniball Vision Elite pens are awesome, and I was glad to find an affordable refill for them. The ink is a little more blue than I expected, but they write just as smooth as the original black cartridge. I will buy these again.

uni-ball makes very good pens, and these are no exception. They have a slight coloration to the ink, which makes the writing have a bit of a funky look, but the ink flows smoothly and does not smudge. The pens also have a nice feel. That is, in both length and diameter at the place where the fingers actually guide the pen, there are good ergonomics. These have become my "go-to" cheapo pens, not at all like the much dressier and expensive Cross and Parker pens that are for business and of course, show.
