So simple to install! We love this surge protector, and this has added a lot of peace of mind. We purchased a new RV, and on our very first trip out with it, the campground had experienced a surge, and the Watchdog did its job. This worked great on our last trip this weekend, and we recommend keeping a couple of spare ones on hand in the event you need them.

Good replacement to have on hand in camper, in case a power surge does happen and takes out the board in the Power Watchdog. One reason we got this protector was the board is user repairable. So far have not had any need to replace it although the Watchdog has worked to protect us a few times. Good peace of mind while camping.

If you have the 50amp Hughes device you probably should buy this as a spare. This way you will be able to change out the protection board and continue to have power without having to wait on a replacement to arrive after an event that burns out your original one. Just like having a spare tire is a good analogy here.

After the first module seemed to be ised up rather quickly after one season i called cust service and they sent another to replace. Easy install i always keep a backup module in the camper now though.
