To make a safe off grid system you need to invest in the best and this 1000v Busbar is one of the best on the market. It's worth the money if you are being serious about solar power. Definately buy this brand and this distributor as all the pos and neg poles are safely tucked away and once you fuse the positive side should there be a problem it's easy to identify.

Have been a fan of Victron kit for a few years. Recently purchased the Lynx Distributor for my new build. Have to say.. very impressed. Makes life so easy, neat and tidy. The cost initially appears high but if you price up parts individually you end up spending about the same or more and its nowhere near as good quality or neat and saves lots of time on install. Also easily expandable.

Proper solid lump of metal in these and easy to connect up and tidy install. Was recognised on my Cerbo GX when connected using std cat5 cable with rj45 (so basically a standard computer network cable)

Was a bit concerned when it didn't arrive with the original box but the company were prompt with addressing my concerns and advised that the warranty is with them, who then deal with victron direct. Have yet to test it but love the look of it. Thank you!

But be careful from expectations to what you get. RTFM read the flipping manual. On its own it’s no more than a bus bar without lights. To kinda make it work you need the Victron smart shunt this provides the power for the distributor PCB hurrah I hear you go. Steady. You get lights that go off when a fuse is inserted and on when it’s O/C great you think eureka it will now tell me when a fuse is blown…….. nope you only get an led light up.. no reporting. For reporting you need to buy the Victron BMS, which is a battery management system for lithium batteries. So to make it all work you go from a hundred quid lynx distributer to a smart shunt to a BMS to a….. oh hang on a minute you need somewhere to get the power from and into the battery system. So you need another lynx distributor.. da daaaaa great Scott it’s alive. So Amazon price wise it goes like this £200.00 £299.00 £1193.00 £200.00. Total £1892.00 for full functionality. Anyone know the price of copper bar and some heat shrink? Mind you it is lovely just a mad price for a bus bar a shunt and a battery management system.

I've set up victron stuff in my home as well as a few other places, automobiles and boats. This stuff is top notch. I knock on wood, have not had a piece fail and it's fairly efficient and integrates into just about anything I want to throw at it. No complaints whatsoever if you have a custom project or just something basic that you want to build and last forever. This is more expensive than most but you really get what you pay for. It's set it and forget it

Excellent product, might seem expensive but its worth it...neat easy wiring & with a quick glance of the led light you can tell if there is fault in the system
