Plastic not metal
It might list this in the ad but these are plastic not metal like the original mercury fuel plugs. The elbow that comes with it proved to be problematic for me. With the fuel line turned down 90* it would hit the transom and eventually snapped the connector when I was adjusting the trim. Using just a straight fitting would have been better. Having metal connectors would have been ideal. The product works fine otherwise.

It works (for now), but it plastic!
I bought this and the description says its metal, its not (Says in another part of the description its Nylon). Its plastic. If you're not careful you will cross thread it and mess up the threads. I did. I was hoping to replace the metal one that was on my tank but I was let down with this plastic junk showed up. Its working but it will switched out before next boating season.

Have to order the kit for the internals
No internal parts just the housing. Make this unmistakably clear on the description please I don’t know anyone who would want just the housing so they then can order more parts and put it all together before installing it. Quicksilver and other brands inline with attwood have the complete product internals come already installed….imagine that
