Works very well for me!
Very good product. I used a digital eye loupe to look at my vinyl cartridge stylus and it was a bit of a mess. Regular cleaning wasn't doing a good enough job. This simple, and cheap, little device cleaned it right up! If you're into vinyl, and care about the fidelity of your sound, buy this product!

This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who listen to vinyl
The Hudson Hi-Fi Turntable Ultra Sonic Stylus Cleaner performs miracles and is extremely simple to use as well as being very cost effective. Brushes can remove some debris from a stylus. The issues are that a brush can only do so much as you have to be very gentle in your cleaning stroke which a) doesn't allow for a thorough cleaning and b) could damage your stylus if you apply too much pressure. The Hudson Hi-Fi Turntable Ultra Sonic Stylus Cleaner resolves both of those issues perfectly with s single drop of cleaning fluid. The process is also much quicker than using a brush. You'll not be disappointed with this product.

Seems To Work Well
I didn’t take a scientific approach like looking at the stylus with electronic microscope to compare before and after pictures. However, just from playing the records post cleaning, it seems like there’s less surface noise, which is likely the result of a cleaner stylus. Operating is pretty straightforward and easy. It doesn’t seem particularly well made; it had that cheap plastic feel to it, so it may be slightly overpriced, but so is everything associated with turntables and records these days. Overall, happy with the purchase. It seems to offer an effective and controlled approach for getting the stylus squeaky clean every time.

Convenient way to clean your stylus thoroughly
Very easy to use and from pics I’ve seen before and after on the web, it works really well. The drop of liquid on the cleaning pad took a fair amount of time to soak in though.

Deep Cleans
I have been using Hudson Hi-Fi's bubble gel and brushing before trying out the ultrasonic cleaner. The gel does a pretty good job but it seems the ultrasonic gives the stylus an extra deep clean. I looked at my stylus before cleaning and after with magnification. I can see a good, crisp and clean diamond tip. I believe it removes more than the gel alone and is very easy to use. Considering the cost of this unit vs the next available at $150, this is a great deal. One thing I did encounter with the fluid.. the carbon fiber brush pad the stylus sits on, the fluid does not go into the brush on it's own. At first I thought once I started the unit up and placed the stylus on it, the fluid would dissipate. That did not happen and I noticed a blob of liquid on my stylus. I had to push any remaining liquid into the brush pad and do the cleaning again. Since after, I make sure to dab the cleaning fluid into the pad and it has not happened again.

A lot of hype in my opinion
Cheaply made, I can't tell any difference after using it but I suppose I'm already OCD about my turntable maintenance.

Fantastic product!
This stylus cleaner works perfectly. I used my microscope to check the cleanliness of the stylus. Wow! Got all of the dust and debris off and no damage to the stylus or cantilever. My Rega Exact 2 cartridge sounds better than ever. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

First impressions were awesome and the first three times I used it the results were awesome too. At last, I thought, a way to clean my stylus without having to actually touch it. BUT for no good reason the ultra sonic stopped working so, even after changing the battery I only have a light that comes on and does nothing at all to clean the stylus. The product is not cheap so I am really disappointed.

I previously believed that utilizing a brush to clean the stylus with a cleaning fluid AT-607A from Audio Technica was sufficient, until I examined the stylus under a microscope and discovered a substantial accumulation of debris around the tip. The Hudson Low Wave cleaner, functioning similarly to an ultrasonic cleaner, effectively removed the debris. There’s a buzzing sound when the button is pressed. The manual said only take 5 seconds for the cleaning. Apologies for the blur image taken by my phone camera thru the scope.

Well Its still early days, but it seems to work really well. I could swear it affected the sound a little, an increase in resolution. Also it looked like the stylus was sharpened, as in the dirt that was on it made it look dull till a quick run in the cleaner. On the negatives, well it is a little finicky to use. For me I have to unplug my table due to it being semi-auto (it will spin once the arm gets close the platter). Then you really have to line up the stylus over the device while holding the platter still. If you dont you could put the needle in the device an accidently move the platter towards the stylus an snap it off. I would suggest something to aid in this. Something to help hold the platter, to free your hands. Not all tables will have this problem of course. It can be bad, but with some careful caution it will be an easy go. After a few uses you will get a method that works well. Overall Id say this is an essential piece of gear. Id rather use this than the gel (if it wasn’t so quik an easy to gel the tip then clean it with the UV, once your done listening). So I use my stylus brush between every recond, gel if it gets a bunch of dust etc. on stylus, then finish with UV when Im done. It has worked wonders as a complete cleaning system. Also the Spin Clean is a fantastic cleaner for your Vinyl. It’s essential for taking care of your vinyl. An for the price, just like this UV device, will pay for itself in no time.
