This is one of my best very purchases, it really is good and works for ages between charges. I charge mine in the car and have never once had to wind it up. It is also of excellent quality and I recommend it.

As an emergency torch I guess it would cover the purpose
Is what it says it is a wind up torch. I don’t get green or blue light only red. The beam is a concentrated dot so not sure if that’s right or not. Unsure at this point whether to keep or return, it was bought as a gift.

Works and charges my phone
Light appears to be bright enough and it also charges my mobile phone. Handy for my hiking backpack and my husband works early in the morning and late nights so he borrows it for work and charging his phone as well .

My wife and i use it in the middle of the amazonia, work very fine. Tested in the baddest possible situation, it work. Dont espect miracle btw, recharging a portable take a long time

Not sure if the winding is being done correctly, but it still charges better from wall outlet or my portable solar panel. Panel light lasts hours! Winding the crank for a minute or two gets me about 30-45 minutes charge, but there's a technique to it. I would say that it is fragile like, so don't drop it get a sleeve cover for it. I dropped a few times and now I hear a loose piece inside rattling. Still works, and panel light lasts hours! Seriously hours!
