Comparing the XING2 and XING series motors
Edit: I have had these motors for sometime now and have not had any issues with them so I am not adjusting my original 5 star rating. One reviewer mentioned weak threading on the mounting holes, and while I haven't had this issue I have encountered it in the past on other xing motors. Because of that I do take care to not apply too much torque on the mounting screws. The screws should already have loctite on them so they only need to be screwed in enough to secure them to the frame.I currently have the XING 2208 1800kV motors on my 5" quad. Those motors showed the big difference between between the XING and XING-E series - their design allows them to survive moderate to severe crashes unlike the E series which seemed to kill a motor or two from mild crashes. The XING 2208 motors have held their own in multiple crashes which I would not expect the E series to survive. But on the 2208's I am running now I suspect are introducing a broad spectrum of noise on my yaw axis. I know one motor has the sound of bad bearings which somehow persisted even after replacing the bearings. Long story short, I purchased these to both test the performance of the new XING2 motors and secondly to see if the excessive noise I am experiencing is related to the motors I'm currently using. These motors look slick and I hope they perform as well as they look. I will update this review after I've had time to thoroughly test them. Since there's no reviews on this item yet I feel compelled to write a review for anyone else considering purchasing these motors. Stay tuned

Smoothest, most efficient motor I’ve ever owned
These motors are absolutely amazing. They add so much efficiency without loosing power. The way these fly is so buttery smooth and the efficiency gave me about an extra minute of flight time, but the torque is definitely there when you need it. This has been my go-to for the past six months and I’ve beaten the absolute hell out of them, so whoever is out here saying they broke 8 in two weeks either doesn’t know what they’re doing, or they’re lying. Also, they don’t run hot, that’s entirely up to your tune and how much filtering you have. I ran these on my usual tune and was actually able to turn the filtering down because they would barely even get warm.

Not bad
Smooth and good. But one of the motors died on the first flight. Might be my fault so 4 stars..

Incredibly smooth freestyle motors suitable a 5 inch 6s build. Light to moderately heavy setups.
These are always going to be a great choice for a smooth flying 5 inch freestyle on 6s. I've used several different brands at the same specs as these, and they honestly don't compare by a considerable margin. Not sure what IFlight is doing different here, but I hope the durability is as good as everything else so far.
