I had a feeling that this very inexpensive scraper would show it's true colors under emergency. I woke up 5:28 AM and had to leave by 5:30 AM to get to work on time. (Opening up a school in this case) Pants on, and I'm flying out the door in a full sprint. We don't get much snow, but the ice on windows is brutal. I come out to a black car with white windows. Full on, giant crystals on every glass surface. I sigh and pull out the scraper and start frantically scraping. This bad boy must have a +6 Vorpal enchantment because Christ Almighty, it cut through 1/4" ice like jet fuel and steel beams. Overall very happy. Would recommend.Scrapes a straight line, very sturdy and comes in two pieces so it fits like a glove. In a glove box.

This thing is rock-solid and does a great job at the thickest of ice (and this season certainly has proven that). My only criticism (and it isn't about the product itself) is the type of sticker used. The sticker was placed across the "vent holes" and THAT was a bear to remove.

I purchased two different ice scrapers the same day from Amazon. This scraper is garbage. Perhaps I got a bad one, but QC is important. This scraper isn't flat enough across the blade to scrape the width of the blade. Instead... it scrapes a little one and a half inch path with the very center of the scraper blade. I use it on a large Dodge Ram truck windshield and the scraper is garbage. I highly recommend the other brand of scraper we purchased for my wife's car. If you don't understand the title, you've never had to deal with a Samsung icemaker. This is just wide enough and just long enough to clear out a frozen over icemaker. It's also all plastic so you can easily wash it, plus it's super cheap. Exactly what I was looking for! Next time I need one for my car I'm going to buy one of these.

Product Dimensions: 0.19x10.7x11.4BS the blade width is less than 4 inches length is under 11 inches and the thickness is about half an inch (0.5). These numbers don't lie. Bought this to replace my old one thathas an 8inch blade. I'll keep shopping around in an actual store to make sure I get what I'm looking for. Something to bear in mind when shopping online, you may NOT always get what you're looking for.
