They started double bagging it due to complaints of leaks. I've ordered twice now and haven't lost a single granule. Much better shipping process. Quality oxidizer. Popular for sugar rockets. Granules large like sugar. Needs to be ground to a confectionery sugar consistency for r-candy mixes. I transfer it into a 4 quart container using a metal 1" funnel. You can also find the funnel on Amazon. SDS stickers really help in labeling all of your chemicals. This KNO3 doesn't have to be water boiled as it's already 99% pure but it is possible to refine it to a higher purity if you want a little extra impulse. This is my go to supplier for sugar and BP rocket KNO3.

Bought this at first to make some antique muzzle loading propellant. I boiled it the first time to make sure of its purity and found no need to boil it for my next batch, as it showed “nearly” no impurities. Then since the price is fair, I’ve decided to buy another 10 pounds to get rid of all my tree stumps. My property was polluted with black walnut trees, and if you ever cut one down, you know that 5-6 new trees start to develop from that same one stump! I tried stump remover from Lowe’s before and it was marginal at best. With this brand being so pure and it is already working wonders on the test stump I’ve put it in, then, (Drilled a bunch of 7/16’ holes in it first) this should end my stump and regrowth problems!

This is an excellent salt fertilizer that I use frequently to make custom fertilizer solutions with. It's ver beginner friendly. The best thing about this particular potassium nitrate was that there wrecked NO CLUMPS and it DISSOLVES IMMEDIATELY, which is exactly what you want in a dry salt if you're a beginner amateur chemist ; )
