Can you field repair this tube quickley, if the puncture is located in the field? how quickly does the tpu patch sealant adhere?

For field repairs, I use standard glueless patches. They last long enough to get you home. The TPU sealant process is just slightly more time consuming and finicky than a "normal" remo type kit to make it not super practical for roadside repairs.

They can. Standard glueless patches work as a temporary "side of the road" fix, and the manufacturer offers a proprietary patch kit that provides a more permanent solution.

would this tube work as well with a 30mm tire as it would with a 47mm tire ?

It should be fine. It just won't expand as much as it would filling the space in a 47mm tire. Make sure to get the extended warranty if available. They will puncture eventually.
