This is so much fun. It has several flower petals that are of different textures, colors, and sounds. It makes rattling sounds that my little fuy sure loves. The flower stem is very soft and flexible. The clip is very dtrong and can attach to just about anything! The car seat, the bassinet, the swing, the bouncer, the stroller, the high chair. All of it!My hope is that sharing my opinion, perspective, and actual experiences with products I use in my everyday life can greatly benefit others as they make their own purchasing decisions. There have been so many purchases I have made that I should have checked reviews for first because disappointedly, I discovered the hard way that it didn't live up to expectations or advertisements. Now as a consumer, I always look to the reviews and reflect on what is said. Especially for larger purchases. I purchased this FunFlex Musical Rattle for a baby shower gift, so I have not taken it out of the box, but I did take a peak and poke at it to make sure it will be fun for baby. The petals on the flower are crinkly, and if you have a little one already then you know that this is a favorite noise for a baby, not sure why but they absolutely love the plastic bag crinkly sound. There are also beads in the middle of the flower to make a rattle noise for when baby shakes it. The stem seems to be highly bendable, so baby can pull, twist, and play with without having to worry about it breaking. The clip seems to be strong and sturdy and can be place on a stroller, highchair, counter, pretty much anywhere you have an edge to clip it, and it looks to be strong enough to stay clipped while baby pulls and plays with the toy.Only one thing I had though that I cannot find that this toy does is play music. I thought because it was a "musical" rattle that it would play some type of melody. But I am sure with just the crinkly sound and rattle from the beads it will be more than enough to keep a baby busy for some time. I also believe that this just one piece in a series or set of interchangeable pieces for this base to give baby variety.I cannot wait to give this as a gift and see how much the little baby boy loves to play with it once he is old enough, and I also love that it is a gift I can add to over the months with different fixtures. I bought this for my son so that he can be entertained when we are traveling and on the go. I just throw this in my diaper bag and pull it out and clip it to his car seat, to a restaurant table, where ever we are to keep him quietly entertained. He loves the crinkly noises that the petals make and he likes the rattle sound of the inside of the flower. The grip is great, it has a rubber edge so that it stays in place when you clip it to something that is a slick surface. The flower is also bendable itself. This is a cute little musical rattle set.
