Stay away from this
First lets talk rules. If your race calls for graphite only, this product is against the rules. Some races, like our district race, have visual evidence of graphite as a part of the inspection process. If your race allows lubricants other than graphite, there are WAY better options than Zap Lube. In fact, nothing at all is a better option than this product. My son is in cub scouts and has had the fastest car every year. We tried out Zap lube a few years ago while prepping axles. It actually made them slower. A polished and properly prepared bare axle performed better before this product was applied than after. My son takes the Pinewood Derby pretty seriously. He does not really care about beating other boys, but works very hard to beat the car he made the year prior. That is becoming harder each year. His car bodies now weigh less than the four wheels and axles. He is now an expert at preparing axles and wheels. His axles are final sanded with 12,000 grit sand paper before a two step polishing process. His wheel bores are polished to a mirror finish. This stuff goes nowhere near his axles and wheels. In fact, I keep the bottle we bought in the toolbox to show other scouts when I give our annual speed tips talk as something to stay away from.We have tried just about every product out there. This one was literally the worst one we have ever tried.

Simply Put...Go Graphite!
Nice lubricant but nowhere near as useful as graphite. I suppose it "may" ultimately last longer if your running in several races without the opportunity to re-lube but it's not the best option available in general. Add personal experience to the fact that 2 of the 3 prior reviews are identical and you have to be left suspicious...save the money and invest in graphite or graphite with moly if you want the surest way to improve car performance.

Excellent Product!
I love Prime’s super-fast shipping! Zap was clean to use, easy to apply, and he is now invited to the district pinewood finals. I'm happy and so is my cub scout. Would buy again.

Didn't work for me at all. Beware it might cost you the race.
I followed all the instructions and was very careful not to get any contamination into the wheel beds. Prior to added the lube, I was able to get 13 seconds before the wheels stopped. Straight after application I was able to show no improvement, and 12 hours later the wheels were not spinning for more than 5 seconds. I didn't want to overapply or add dry graphite so I reapplied a little before the race but results were lackluster.I would recommend sticking to traditional dry graphite and steer clear of this.

It is not better than graphite
This is average lube. It is not better than graphite. However if graphite is not allowed it will work pretty good. There are better none graphite lubes out there. Trust me I tested them all.

Snake oil, save your money.
Save your money, this product is nothing but water in a bottle, and is extremely overpriced. More expensive then gold. Much better lube out there.
