I've had Lasik with a PRK touch up some years back, but for some reason my left eye was becoming painfully dry at night. I don't know if it's because I sleep on my left side, my cat likes to sleep next to me, we have a ceiling fan on all the time, or allergies, I really found no rhyme or reason other than sometimes I would wake up with a extremely painfully dry eye. I tried a night mask but it did nothing for moisture so I tried this item. I didn't even notice this was marked as a 'mini' either. It fits in your eye sockets but after I got use to that, I don't even notice wearing it. It also doesn't slip around in the night like a regular mask does. I sleep on my side and even then it is staying where it should be. It blocks out ALL light when properly adjusted which is especially great for naps during the day or, if you have someone who has to get ready for work way earlier than you do, as in my case. They can turn on the lights and you don't notice a thing! You can wear it without the removable pads, but the pads can be soaked in water to keep your eyes moist before sleeping. I personally found the full sized removable pads too big, and I didn't like anything pressing against my eye, so I sliced them in half and it works well for me that way. I wear these every night for both the light protection, and the humidity for the eye. Because let me tell you, bad dry eye HURTS. These came in a very nice case as well. Very happy with this item so far.

When I first got Lasik in my left eye, I thought it was great - now, 5 years later I question that choice due to EXTREMELY DRY eyes. I know that Lasik is the issue because my right eye is fine - slightly dry but not a big deal. I have tried virtually all eye masks, drops, and ointments but my dry eye has gotten substantially worse. As a last result, I saw this product and gave it a try. I've used this for three nights and have been able to wake up without dry eye pain. If you are at your wit's end, with dry eye pain, try this product. The difference between this product and others is WATER. There inserts within each eye shield that you moisten with WATER. The inserts stay moist all night which keeps your eyes from drying out.

These photos are from after a year of use. When first received, I thought these goggles were fantastic. They were snug, and felt comfortable. After a couple months of use, the goggles no longer were snug on my head and would loosen while I slept. My solution was to sew a piece of velcro on one side of the strap. (I couldn't sew it on both sides because the velcro was stickey and ruined my sewing machine/needle. I'd pull the other side of the (unsewn) strap snug, and tuck it under the band and it stayed snug, until... The cup on one side separated from the rubber cushion. I tried hot glue and then strong craft glue - hot glue lasted one night and the craft glue lasted a week. These were washed in soapy water and dried on the counter. I would not recommend purchasing these goggles. Since then, I tried a man's neck tie - works perfectly, can be thrown in the washer, and will not fall apart.

I’ve looked high and low and low and high for a mask that keeps the moisture in and works with side sleepers. As a pregnant woman I am required to sleep on my side so I can’t change this currently even if I wanted to, but these were supposed to work for side sleepers. They don’t. First they come off your face and so you have to make them progressively tighter. Second you wake up with HUGE dark under eye circles from them pushing on your eyes. No way around it because your side of the face on the pillow is pushing the mask into your eye the entire night, that is until the mask falls off. I either wake up with no mask or huge dark circles under my eye or both. It’s unwearable because of that. The eye circles do not quickly go away either so you look horrible the entire next day. It gets 3 stars just because they are comfy before you lay on your side and they are good quality. If you sleep on your back they are probably great and the dark circles probably will be less an issue. My photo shows me hours after waking with makeup on an yet you can still see the shadow from the eye circles. Sorry I didn’t get a just woke up photo.

Le confort n'est pas si mal bien que ça ne soit pas aussi confortable qu'un loup. La partie centrale est trop près de l'oeil et les contours ne sont pas très confortables en dormant sur le côté. Toutefois la bande arrière est agréable. Autre chose, le fait d'avoir de l'humidité constamment autour de l'oeil m'a causé de l'eczéma sur les paupières. Ça n'a pas du tout amélioré mon problème de sécheresse occulaire.

Je ne peux utiliser ce masque car avec mon masque c - pap il appuie dessus et je n'obtiens pas de bons résultats. Depuis 1 mois je demande un étiquette de retour et je ne reçois absolument rien aucune réponse. merci de me lire Lise Viau
