Used for portable bench top supply
I needed a way to step down voltage from an ATX supply, this outputs regulated voltage needed without any active cooling which makes for a great addition to my prototyping station.

Very versatile supply
The voltages out from the supply make it useful for a wide variety of mixed voltage projects. Inclusion of a variable voltage is a bonus for sure. A variable negative voltage could make this an even better supply -- though this one will applied in a lot of my mixed analog / digital projects.
