This are great!! It took a minute or two to figure out installation (the package is not clear or detailed at all) but it was pretty easy to figure out. I ordered this for the drawers and cabinets in the bathroom, as well as the drawers to our dressers in the bedroom.Unfortunately, the drawers in the bedroom are too thick and the magnet was not strong enough to unlock the clip so I can only use it in the bathroom. That is the only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5, because I wish the magnet were stronger.I still forget that they are installed. I frequently tug at the drawers in frustration before I remember that they are locked! It will take a while to get used to. In my frustration, I did manage to pull one of them off. But the package included extra command strips and I easily replaced it. This happened before the first 24 hours had set in and I suppose maybe they weren't completely stuck. Even so, it took quite a bit of effort for me to open so I know my 1 year old doesn't stand a chance!I also like the unlock feature. I unlock it and open & close the drawers and cabinets normally until I need to lock them again.Overall, it is a great buy and well worth the money.

These plastic locks take a little practice to align properly, but work well once installed. Some things to take into account are: (1) the thickness of the door at the location you plan to install the locks because things like handles can get in the way, (2) the amount of flat surface available where you plan to install the locks; some cabinets are not flat on the inside and may limit the strength of the bond, (3) these locks will keep out small children, but would not be effective security against someone actually trying to break in. Also, a decently strong neodymium or electric magnet could be used as an alternative key, but you need to make sure the right pole can be brought close enough to unlock the lock. Overall, these are very useful and I would buy them again.

For a while I have been looking for safety cabinet locks and the majority of the ones I have found you have to screw into the cabinet itself and that was not something I personally wanted to do.To start the product is called "BESTOPE Baby Cabinet Lock Safety Drawer Magnetic Locks" I ordered this product off of amazon.com for $17.99. It comes with 10 magnetic locks and 2 magnetic keys.What I love about this product: There are ABSOLUTELY no screws! It’s all 3m sticky pads. The locks are very easy to install; you can use them not only on your cabinets but your draws to (if they are deep enough that is) but still! The product comes with two magnetic keys and yes you could say to yourself "what if I lost both keys, how would I get into the cabinets?" let me tell you! Your choices are easy, you can buy replacement magnetic keys or you could rip of the sticky pads and don’t worry they do not leave residue, they do not rip of the wood, I do however want to say that if the inside of your cabinets are painted it may take off some of the paint but honestly who paints the inside of their cabinets! They also come with extra 3m sticky pads so that you can just replace the one you ripped off. The added bonus of this product is, you can unlock the magnetic locks whenever you don’t need them to be locked so that you don’t have to use the magnetic key how amazing is that!!The product received a 4 out of 5 star rating on amazon.com however, I give this product a 5 star. As soon as you get over the fact that you have to use the magnetic key to open the cabinets, unless they are unlocked, it becomes something that you wished you would have gotten sooner!

I installed these on several of my cabinet doors to prevent my toddler son from getting into trouble. The hardest part of the installation was removing the tape covering the sticky surface. Installation only takes a about a minute or two per door but take your time to make sure the locks are aligned properly so your doors can open and close smoothly when installed. After installation make sure the locks are in the open position so that the adhesive has time to cure (I let mine set over night). This will insure the locks will work properly and not pop off on a hard tug or pull after installation. (I popped the first one off right after installing and testing the lock).I just wish there were more magnet keys in the set. If you are installing one set in more than two locations (I have three bathrooms) then the remaining l location will not have a key.

This is kind of inconvenient as you have to always have the "key" around to "unlock" the cabinets. If you lose the key then.... well you need to order a replacement or find a strong enough magnet to unlock the cabinet. The key is a magnet, and you have to place the magnet in the right position on the cabinet to "unlock" it. Also, the part where you have to adhere the locks onto the inside of the cabinet are not well made. My 1 year old pulled on a cabinet and it popped right off. Not really that "safe" to me. I would definitely try other options should I be in the market to look for other locks in the future.

Can be tricky to get the exact right spot for perfect installation so it works the best. Sometimes the latch gets “stuck” in the open position but just takes a finger flick to reset. Keeps kids and cabinets safe.Doesn’t require drilling or permanent fasteners!

Horrible product, I can't even figure out how to use it, the instructions are useless. I purchased this product months ago and it's still in the package because I can't figure the worthless instructions out. I'm pretty competent and I've looked at the instructions at least 5 times and can't get anywhere with them. Wish I could send it back at this point.

Won't work on my kitchen drawers or cupboards due to thickness of my cabinets (magnet won't draw), so returned for a refund. Probably a good product, just doesn't fit any of my drawers or cabinets (if your cabinets are thick, or have scalloped edges - not flat like in the picture. Noting I had to try about 4 types before I found a drawer lock that fit.
