Amazing vinyl and the seller (Rampant Records) sold it for a great price and dispatched it quickly, fast delivery, excellent service.

Have purchased the white vinyl (first DD vinyl purchase since Liberty in 1990).Vinyl has 10 tracks. The standard CD has 12 while the Deluxe CD has 15.Have heard the Vinyl and Standard CD versions at this point. Both play well with no filler.Wasn't sure about Beautiful Lies at first but have grown to like it. It has a structure which is different from the other songs and works after a few listens. Tonight United was the most immediate pop track to me.Graham Coxon is great on here. Subtle and very like Andy Taylor in the sense that he adds a sort of choppy, discordant punctuation.Hammerhead has a rap which I found inoffensive. Know others dislike it. Doesn't spoil the experience of the CD version for me.I have liked all the "new-millennium" albums and this is the best balance of styles since Astronaut. Don't know if it is better than that yet, time will tell. The fact I am thinking about it puts it at around the same level. It certainly seems more dynamic.I can never compare newer albums to the original three, the Earth has gone around the sun too many times. I think this stands up against those in terms of consistency and substance.Soaring vocals, pounding drums, funky bass and inventive keyboard washes. Artwork is one of the best they have done.Feeling very positive about this album after a week of listening.

Duran's debut was the first album I ever bought - 40 years ago - £4.99 from Our Price Records - ahhh the memories...I've followed them ever since, buying every album along the way and I have to say this is by far and away their strongest, best, most cohesive, confident and satisfying one in a long time.The production is amazing throughout, and to me it feels like they've found the sound they've been looking for for years.I was super excited when I heard Graham Coxon was playing guitar with them as I'm a massive fan of his as well. You can hear his influence throughout - especially on More Joy!, which for me, is up there with their best - an AMAZING track. It sounds like it could easily have been on Coxon's latest album Superstate - which is an awesome album as well and comes highly recommended.Duran Duran are at their very best here - don't hesitate to buy this brilliant album and give yourself a lot MORE JOY!!

Good album ..

So, to kick-off, I'm not a massive Duran Duran fan. Back in the 80s I was too busy sporting a poodle perm and trying to be Jon Bon Jovi. Pop 'weaklings' like DD and Spandau were the 'enemy'!!But over the years, tracks like 'Ordinary World' and 'Reach up for the Sunrise' have seen me mellow in my outlook towards DD, so much so that I was happy enough to tag-along with my Mrs to see Simon and the boys at Scarborough Open Air Theatre a few weeks back.Wow, what a show, I must admit to quite a bit of singing along to the hits! But, moreover, I loved the new tracks. So much so that I ordered 'Future Past' for its release day.A few hours in and it's on constant rotation. A fantastic album, from first note to last. The addition of Graham Coxon on guitars is a masterstroke, and SLB is is in fine form vocally.After the debacle that is Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres', the old boys show them how to make a proper album! Highly recommended +++++

I’ve listened to Duran Duran since they started in the 80’s and bought a lot of their LPs but I have to admit I kind of went off them a bit. But I have to admit this record I really like, in fact I can easily play the whole album without skipping tracks…which is oh so easy these days

This is a great album but for true fans it's best to get the double album as there are 2 tracks missing from the original realise and with the double album you get 4 bonus tracks and the 2 missing but it's a few pounds more
