First time having coffee this dark and pleasantly surprised. Smells almost burnt when you first open it but taste is amazing and smooth. Not too acidic or sour, yet still has a kick and dark roast flavor. Great value for money, would recommend.

I’ve tried at least a half dozen types of dark roast coffee in the past 6 months or so. This Starbucks brand comes closer than any of them in combining taste & smoothness.I drink my coffee black so tasting that rich blend is key. The other brands were a.bit smoother but lacked taste, so this one tops the list.It does have a mild “bite” but is an acceptable trade off.I’ll definitely stick with it until I find the ultimate coffee but doubt I ever will. Then again? You never know.

Delicious Italian Roast at 1/2 the cost for a smaller bag at the grocery store. Great value!

I really enjoy this Italian roast. I don't drink it all the time as I don't want to get used to this. Just an occasional treat.
