New Balance Women's Drft V1 Running Shoe

I bought these in November 2022 and they lasted through October 2023 before they started getting holes in the interior fabric at the heel. They were very comfortable for brisk walking and being on my feet. I have high arches and clawed toes with a "Greek foot" shape. My feet are slightly wider at the ball of my foot. I would buy these again if they came in the same color. I found a very similar fitting replacement New Balance shoe on Amazon with the New Balance Women's Dynasoft Pro Run V2 Shoe (btw Dynasoft runs 1/2 size small and narrow)

I bought these because the price was right and I needed a new pair of sneakers. I gotta say I am super happy that I did. They are super comfortable, even for all day wear. I am not a runner, so I cannot vouch for how comfortable they would be as a running shoe. For all day wear around the house though, they are great!

These are listed as running shoes but I like them for running and general cross training at the gym. They are super light weight and flexible. I wear a size 8 and found these to run true to size. I feel they support my feet well. I tend to probate inward over my ankle when running and felt these helped. And the price point was awesome. I’ll be buying new balances again!

I have many foot problems Janet toes and bunions but the fabric stretches when I walk making these very comfortable. I wasn’t sure I’d like the color but I love the blue and green color. They don’t make my 9 1/2 wide feet look too big which is a plus for me. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 is because I can’t wear them too many days in a row because the ankle support is not like the stiffer new balance sneakers but I guess that why my feet feet so good. So I just take a break for a day or two and then go back to them

I am usually a size 9 or 9.5 regular. My big toe stick out a bit with the 9, but the 9.5 is perfect. Arch felt a little high at first, but I believe that’s because I had been wearing converse sneakers the past 6 month or so, which have no support. After a few days I didn’t even notice the arch anymore. I’m not a runner so can’t attest to that (unless you count running in the airport to catch a flight!) but I walk a few miles every day and they’ve been great, nothing rubbed or bothered my foot. I’ve worn them with and without socks and they’re still comfortable either way. Super comfortable and lightweight and I will buy again when needed.

I ran with these right out of the box! These are some of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever tried. That being said, I’m a treadmill runner so I cannot attest to their comfort and stability on road or trail running. As usual for New Balance, they are wide enough for me (I usually have to buy wide width shoes). I’m a New Balance fan from way back and these shoes reinforce my faith in their products! I highly recommend them!

I love that the shoes are light weight and breathable. The color is fantastic in person and the laces are a good length (I have another pair of MB that had really short laces!). The one thing I don’t love is that inside the shoe, the tip bends or wrinkles inward. At first, it felt like something sharp was in my shoe, but upon investigating, I realized the material at the tip is soft and lose support. Have only wore them about three days and this seems like an issue that shouldn’t happen with brand new shoes.

I have a really hard time finding shoes that fit. I was nervous about buying online. New Balance shoes tend to fit much better so I went for it. I’m happy I did. It was much easier to buy here than going from store to store just to see if they had anything in a wide width. These shoes not only fit but we’re in my budget and in my favorite colors. I’ll do it that way again!
