Q: Any one else have problems with flickering? Mine is great when it works but it is so inconsistent. It stop's working during my physical exams!

I have bought two of these penlights in the past. They both behaved exactly like you described, great when they work but inconsistent and end up flickering. The manufacture says its from batteries being low on power, but I have used fresh batteries and still have the same issues. If you fiddle with the tightness of the end caps you can sometimes find a spot that works great for a few days but then it starts to flicker again. When it works its great.I would not recommend these to others unless the switch is redesigned.
