This is a great electric fireplace. It was packaged extremely well. It is very sturdy not cheap steel like many others. To hang it, two screws in two studs is all you need. If not, they give you appropriate drywall fasteners. Takes a 2x6 wall to install inside. Actually 5.25 thick. I hung mine on the wall and built a cedar frame around it and to hide the cord. (See pic) The logs look great and the fire effect is very good. The heater is a nice plus. It uses a squirrel cage fan and is fairly quiet. It has a low and high heat setting which is impressive considering it is a 120v heater. My only comment to Touchtone would be to put a “white” cord and plug on the unit. A white cord blends in with most walls, a black one takes away from the beautiful unit and needs to be covered up. White would have to cost the same as black but look much better. Everything considered, I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a beautiful fireplace at a reasonable price.

Excellent quality and price. Love the variety of color options and heat it gives off. Bought this more for the wall entertainment unit. Very impressed with the ambiance it gives off when not using the heat function. The realistic wood inset looks very realistic. We don't use the glass stone option because we like to wood inset better. Very easy to install if you have the rough opening framed and outlet directly behind.

Before I purchased I contacted the company for help deciding the size that I needed for my space. They were extraordinarily helpful and help me pick the perfect size. It arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were clear and easy to install. It has multiple color options that are all beautiful but I only use 1 or 2 of the most realistic colors. I did turn on the heater to make sure it works and it definitely works sufficiently. It’s not noisy at all. It’s versatile and works perfectly with transitional, modern and contemporary styles. Great investment!

this fireplace, gold tone it's elegance to the living space. It adds a calm and relaxing feeling for me. That's it makes the room, calm and relaxing. It matches the decor of the living room setting. My only problem is I had it installed by professional folks, instead of myself and because of the code in my city of Sterling Heights I could not have the heating portion turned on so it's installed without the heating element. I didn't really need it because I have heaters in front of the fireplace that is coming from the house so I really wanted it for this elegant look as you will see in the video. I can always take it out and simply flick the switch on the back and turn it back on the heating portion but for now I don't need it so I'll just use it for. I rate this a 4 1/2 out of five and that's only because not of any fault of the actual fireplace. It's because I have not access the heating portion because of my cities code situation.

Easy installation, clean look, esthetically pleasing flame selections, moderate heat (takes the chill off the room). Provided remote control is cheesy and worthless. We control it with the app on out phones which seems to work well.

We did a lot of research and reading of reviews before deciding to purchase this. It's really beautiful. The flames are about as realistic as you can get and you can adjust the size and color of the flame. The only disappointment was that you can't change the speed of the flames, but that is such a minor thing that it doesn't impact how much we love this. The heater is enough to heat our den nicely.

It works perfect. We already had a previous insert from another company . This was a replacement. We are very happy with it. Puts out a decent amount of heat and looks nice. The only thing I wish it had was the crackling sound..
