Royce LeatherGenuine Leather Padfolio Burgundy

I would like to start off that this was my first padfolio and Amazon review...ever. It was meant to be one of the small gifts to myself for another great summer of work and play! The shipment was fairly prompt (standard) and the box that it came in is lovely. Enough so, that I am keeping it (great for keeping change or reusing as a gift box). Now, as my first padfolio, I am no expert on what a good one should be. I assume however, that there are many tailored for individuals' needs. I knew that I wanted something simple, without extras that I would not use. It was simple in design and to my liking in construction: It feels durable. The leather material itself is soft and nice to touch. The pad has some weight to it but still quite light; in a good way. It has presence in my hand. It will not slip out of your hand and go unoticed like a feather; you will feel the difference in weight. Also, the biggest deal for me, was that it was cost effective. There are certainly more expensive alternatives out there, but for my purposes and for the quality product that is this Royce padfolio, I'd say it was a darn good bargain. I plan to keep and use this for a while and hopefully for years to come. Lastly, the color seen in the advertised photos is very close if not the same as what you get. That was a small but noticeable detail of my purchasing experience. Too many times have leather goods appeared differently from what advertised on the site compared to in person. I ordered the burgundy by the way since I did not see any brown/ chocolate brown. I was a bit hesitant on the color but I grew to like it upon my first uses. Quality, Simple, Functional product.

These padfolios typically run for $50 and even that's a bargain considering the quality of this product. I was able to get this for $37 bucks and let me tell you, you won't believe how much of a steal that is once you get this in the mail. Very speedy shipping/delivery. It comes in a gorgeous Royce engraved box with a silver bow on it. Once you crack it open, you are hit with the scent of genuine leather. Yes ladies and gentlemen, real leather. It doesn't feel cheap and is very sleek. I purchased this in the burgundy color which really looks more like a chocolate or coffee brown. I don't mind because that's the color I was looking for. But if you're looking for a legit burgundy color, this isn't for you. It also comes with a complimentary writing pad and has plenty of pockets for documents or business cards for networking. Trust me, with this you'll enter boardrooms in style. I wish it came with a complimentary gold pen. Maybe that'll be my next amazon purchase?

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend "who has everything" and is hard to shop for. She absolutely loved it! Loved the color, feel, quality. She uses it every day now in her work as a psychotherapist. In addition to looking more professional, it also provides a nice sturdy surface for taking notes while sitting in a chair. Big hit!

This leather portfolio is a great value considering the high quality. The use of genuine leather makes a large difference to the color, texture, & durability (not to mention who doesn't love the smell of new leather). Pockets are roomy and practical, stitching is perfect. and the supplied legal pad is nearly full portfolio length, allowing for plenty of notes per page. Product arrived in quality ensured packaging. This product is a necessity for anyone hoping to stay organized, and add to their professional image. (Even if you don't actually take notes, just showing up to a meeting/interview with a portfolio such as this adds to your credibility and will give you "bonus points" by those you hope to impress).

At first I was a little skeptical about this padfolio because of the price, but once I received it, it was worth it. It was packaged in this eye appealing box and once you opened it, you can see and smell the fresh leather. Royce leather is very presentable and it'll give you that extra confidence when you walk in with it in a business meeting or an interview. Also, I've checked this item at Office Depot and it's cheaper through Amazon than the store. If you're still unsure, go to Office Depot or a similar store that would carry it. But it is a great product.

Royce Leather Shiny Leather Writing Portfolio, Writing Pad, Presentation Folder, Business Case with Inserted Note Pad and Folder for Documents (Chestnut Brown) . Love the way this looks and feels! It's professional, sleek, and practical. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the leather had a slight nick on it. However, the nick is difficult to see and the padfolio is definitely worth purchasing.

I had been looking to replace a similar product that had begun to fall apart after 20 years and this is far superior to my old one in every way. This product was exactly as described and arrived quickly. It is great for bringing to interviews or meetings when you want something more professional looking than a notepad but don't wish to carry a briefcase. It also comes with some nice features, such as pocket to carry a pen, as well room for additional resumes or papers. I highly recommend this product.

Very professional looking product for a great price. It has the right compartments without being too bulky. It is hard to tell if it is the actual color I ordered (I think I may have received a shiny leather one instead of the regular burgundy), but the quality of the product is what I really care about and it looks sharp so who cares. It also came with a notepad which is a nice touch.
