Extremely effective!
Sadly had to resort to this when the ultrasonic device didn't work and I had them in place for a month. I didn't want to kill anything. Especially not interested in poisoning and this device certainly seems to be immediate and most humane. Have now had 2 mice in it and hope that will be it but we will see.

Seems to work ok but hasn't caught a rat yet after 2wks.
I liked the idea but it hasn't killed a rat yet! The rats seem to prefer to eat poison in another trap. I'll continue to explore ways to attract them to this trap. Still hopeful it will kill a rat.

Design faults make the product not fit for intended use
I purchased two of the units and both seemed to work as intended at first, After a few weeks Id racked up about twelve kills between them. I located them in my shed as that was the place I keep getting rodent problems. After a few weeks I started to get false positives, Id go to check the traps and Id have a green light indicating a kill, looked inside no kill! So then I made sure batteries were fully charged set the traps up and the same again, so rigged them up to mains power and got the same result, Traps would make high pitched electronic buzz then after a few mins indicate a kill. I let them sit for a few hours in a warm place then they worked, So they do not work in perfectly dry cold out buildings and this is a design flaw because of the cold the metal plates get cold then the plates create slight moisture giving false trigger on the trap. This could be eliminated by using a mesh grid not plates and insulation in-between. If they pay me Ill design one that actually works

Caught two at the same time. Unintentionally due to a possible fault
Bought this to use in the garage as I found evidence we had small rodents in there. Placed along the garage door near to where I’ve found evidence but never caught anything. Think I found the reason… they had moved into our loft.Placed this up in the loft and within days I’d caught two on one go - unintentionally. And partly due to a possible fault. As it was up in the loft I placed the extended LED through the loft hatch and closed the door so I could keep an eye on it. After a couple of days I hadn’t seen the light alert me so I opened the loft and noticed the door was closed so I opened it and thought nothing else if it. But I decided after 10 minutes to bring it down and check it properly as I was puzzled as to why the door had shut but the extended LED wasn’t flashing. After opening the loft hatch, I noticed the door on the trap was shut again, at the time I thought maybe me closing the loft hatch triggered the door to shut. But once I’d moved the trap down I could see that there was a live mouse inside, as well as one at the back of the trap that must have been ‘dispatched’ but the trap. The LED on the top was flashing green to tell me it’s been activated but for some reason the extended LED didn’t do anything.Long story short. If you are using the extended LED perhaps keep checking the trap regularly until you know the extended LED works.

Catches mice
Very Happy with this product, I also intend to place it in the attic as I have heard some strange sounds! The great benefit of this catcher is its extension LED, so when I do put it in the attic I can feed the LED out to be able to see the status without having to go in to the attic. When it catches a mouse it also beeps to let you know - I am unclear if my one is faulty, but the beep is extremely quiet - fine for a noiseless environment - but anytime with poor hearing would certainly not hear it.The mechanism that slides open is also quite stiff, perhaps I need to oil it or something, but it can be a struggle sometimes to open.So far I have caught and disposed of 4 mice - so it definitely works.

Used it once, worked well. 2nd use constantly discharges as if trapped something.
The media could not be loaded. Large enough as described. Caught a rodent. Wiped it clean, plugged it back in and can hear it discharging as if it’s caught something, however, tray clear. So not cost effective for one use. Cannot get hold of seller.

Works well
Set up nice and easy; caught a couple of rodents in my garage already.. Easy to open the end and dispose of smaller ones, bit harder with bigger ones; have to slide apart.. But does the job and I can leave it and check every few days..
