Okay, so I finally caved and got a silk pillowcase, and I'm kinda mad I didn't do it sooner. I'd heard all the hype about them being good for your hair and skin, but I didn't really believe it until I tried one myself. First off, it feels amazing. Like, seriously luxurious. It's so soft and smooth, it's like sleeping on a cloud. And I actually have noticed a difference in my hair. It's less frizzy and tangled in the morning, which is a huge win. I'm also hoping it'll help with wrinkles in the long run, but I guess I'll have to wait and see about that. The only downside is that they can be a little pricey, and you have to be careful when you wash them. But honestly, I think it's worth it. If you're looking for a little extra pampering in your life, a silk pillowcase is definitely the way to go.

Purchased these to help with my hair loss. I also heard they for good for your skin health too. They stay cool all night which is why my husband loves them. Very soft with a hidden zipper! Quality is nice!

Did a little burn test and generated some black, crumbly ash, smelled like burning hair: at the first few touches of the flame, the material did not catch fire--I kept burning and eventually it did catch flame and burn until part of the material melted into a hard little pellet. So tentative conclusion: this material is a silk + polyester mix. THERE IS REAL SILK!!! Just not 100%. Anyway, the price per case right now ($9/ea) is on the cheaper end for this product category on Amazon. I can't really speak to how this compares with 100% polyester satin versions. User experience: It achieves what I bought it for. Absorbs less oil than cotton does, reduces friction-induced shedding of hair. The white picks up marks more easily than I thought though. I don't have a headboard so my bed sit directly against the white plaster walls of the apartment. A couple weeks after the first wash, the pillowcase has picked up some scuff marks. Maybe they'll go away with the next wash.

They are soft, but more like satin than real silk. Zipped side keeps pillow from slipping out. Have held up for over a year. Color has not faded.

This Beijoey 100% mulberry silk pillow case is a game changer! I had been hearing a lot of hype about how changing your pillow cases out for silk ones would help with hair shedding. I really didn’t believe that a pillow case could make such a big difference but this one definitely did! I have seen a huge change in the amount of hair breakage and hair shedding after using this pillow for about a month now. The quality is great and it almost has a cooling effect. You can unzip it to remove and wash so it’s very low maintenance as well. If you’re having any of these issues I highly recommend you try.

I love these pillow cases Now I will only sleep with silk pillow cases. I have fine hair and using cotton or other fabrics damages by hair. The silk pillow cases are gentle on my hair, and my skin. Will buy from this seller again.
