I've bought it several times now I think people are dramatic about the smell. Smells like my mom in the 90s and that's fine with me. I am super pale and I see a difference the first morning, but definitely builds, then after a few applications I need to skip, and shave to kind of reset or it starts looking funky.I think the other ingredients do have an effect as well, as far as firming and stuff. But it could just be from the aggressive rub down too. I think this is great for people who might be nervous about taking the step to a real fake tan product, like that you leave and rinse and everything.

This product is great, I am very pale. Sometimes I’ll get a little sun on my arms, but as far as my legs literally never! So I hate having uneven skin tones. It took a little while for me to figure out how to use this product for the best of my use because it is a little bit runny and if you have dry skin, you can see some hints of bronze, so what has helped me is I keep it in the fridge to thicken it up, before I apply it, I take a shower and use a scrub around my ankles, knees, and wrists. I apply moisturizing lotion to my ankles, knees, elbows, stomach, back of my neck, face wrists and hands, and then get the lotion out of the fridge and use my bare hands to apply it all over, I always start with my arms and then move to my torso, stomach, sides, back, Butt, thighs, legs.. I use it very sparingly around my ankles, elbows and my knees with a little bit of residue on my hands After I’ve rubbed it in I put a little bit on my face and ears. I think it gives a really nice bronzing affect and makes you look tan, I’m very pale and prefer this one bc the lighter ones don’t make me look as tan. I love the way it looks and I don’t look orange, which I love the most. It says me about 3 days then I reapply under the same process. I have a shimmer powder and I put that on when I go out if I wear like a dress or shorts. Make sure you wash your hands at the end! Be careful not to get your wrists or arms wet. I usually apply moisturizer to my hands and wrists once I wash them

This product gives decent color if you use it for a couple of days in a row, although it doesn’t last very long. The big thing is, it is extremely runny almost like a milky texture. It will literally spill out of the bottle if you don’t hold it completely upright, without being said, you can pour right into your hand,. It would be great if it was just a little thicker, and it would be easier to handle. Not a great smell either, but really the runny factor is the real problem.

I would have given it 5 stars except the smell is very strong. Doesn't seem like they added anything at all to try and cover up/improve the "self-tanning lotion" stink that comes with pretty much all of these types of products. Otherwise, it's just as advertised. I put it on at night and woke up the next day with a light color. Perfect for a pale girl like me. I've smelled a lot better products, but other than that it does exactly what it should.

First off, it’s not a lotion when it’s this old. It’s straight up liquid! I thought buying directly from b.tan it wouldn’t be old expired inventory. If you’re not careful and hold it upright it will all run out of the bottle. Very disappointing, do yourself a favor and just buy the Jergens lotion (it’s actually in lotion form)

This is such good quality for the price. It does have a smell but it is more like the scent of a spray tan than a normal self tanner and it goes away once it’s dry. It dries quickly and is not streaky or blotchy and does not transfer onto clothes. The only thing is it’s very runny so be careful when you apply it if you have carpet, and make sure when you close the lid you do it slowly over a towel or rag or else product will fly. It doesn’t all come off right when you wash yourself like other self tanners and it does take maybe 12-14 hours to fully develop. It also doesn’t sweat off unevenly when I work out the next morning after application. Will definitely be repurchasing.

Works decently, even noticeable build on my extremely pale self, but it is nearly water which is going to keep me from coming back, it's annoying to handle.The sent is an acquired taste, but it's not something I would pick on purpose.

I was skeptical about getting this from the mix reviews and I can't stand tanning lotion if it has a strong smell. I decided to try it after an influencer that recommended it. She's good at give her honest opinion and I gotten other things she's recommended and wasn't disappointed.I have used this twice already and I have a tan. It does have a slight tanner smell but it's not bad and doesn't last for long. I'm sensitive to smells and will get migraines. It's comes out like regular lotion a white color. It's not too thick which is good. It rubs in better. Feels very hydrating when putting it on.I really like that I can use after I shower. I tan and moisture in one. I like it dry's fast and you don't have to wait like the tanning mousse. No sticky feeling. You put it on all over wait a min then get dressed. That's all no rinsing off later. I already ordered a second bottle so I don't run out. I still have tanning mousse I'll eventually finish up but I like this stuff alot better & better than Jergens.
