POWERSTOP BRAKE PADS (KIT)
Brake pads last much longer than any other. If you break them in, (directions on box) and use only powerstop items (grease in box and clips). My parents brake pads lasted 4 years. Drove everyday and our town has alot of stop lights. Follow manufacturer instructions to get long life. I also bought powerstop towing kit. [Calipers, rotors, brake pads] hardly any brake dust, no squeaks, stop faster with little pedal pressure. POWERSTOP is only brakes Ill use and have for a long time.

Great brake pads
Great brakes, perfect fit for my 2018 Silverado. Bracket hardware seems more durable than the ones that were already installed. Looks and feels like any quality brake pad. Good stopping ability, better than the OEM brake pads. Good value.

Great stopping power for 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ
Had them on for over 3 weeks now on our 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ with Summit Racing 450hp crate engine 5.3l Vortec. Great pads! Fast and aggressive stopping power when needed. Great in the cold and snow as well as in the rain! Will be buying this brand the next time I need new pads. May be getting new front rotors by this brand in the near future. Pads seem to be erasing the deep groves from the old pads that had metal on metal. Rotors may not be needed for a little longer. Rear pads will be next to replace. Great value, extra Hardware included such as noise making shims or regular shims, no noise at all under hard or regular braking, perfect fitment and smooth as butter even during hard fast braking!

Works great- long break -i'm very satisfied.
Bought these for a Chevy Silverado with 72,000 miles First brake pad change. Took a gamble on these pads and also bought drilled and slotted rotors also from Amazon. To be clear ,bought these pads for both front and rear. When I first put them on they were better than original equipment. Just slightly better . Noticeable for sure but not dramatic. But the real surprise came after about 3- 4,000 miles . Brakes have dramatically become better. Stops better thru the range of driving conditions. Slow speed braking and faster speed braking is just way better. I've been a mechanic for years and never saw a break in like this. I'm thoroughly pleased and would buy them again. Haven't towed with them yet. Will update when that happens.

So far so good
I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 4x4. I have never used Power Stop products before but bought these brake pads based on reviews and opinions of others I know who had. The package arrived in good nick and included an assortment of pad clips and a very small packet of lubricant. Replacement is pretty straight forward with no issues. These pads have tight tolerances so using a wire brush or electric wire wheel, ensure you thoroughly clean the slots and lube the clips on the caliper that the tabs sit in otherwise you may have difficulty getting the pads to seat correctly and/or they may bind. As I said, the kit comes with a small packet of lubricant. However, it is nowhere near enough to lube the guide pins and required contact points. I prefer to use Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant for this purpose. I have driven about 2,300 miles since the installation and the pads have worked well with good braking performance. NOTE, for optimum braking performance, it is important to bed new brake pads. Bedding brake pads allow new friction material on the pad to properly wear-in and the pad to match the profile of the rotor surface increasing contact and maximizing the braking performance. Find a stretch of road where you can conduct this procedure safely and legally. Accelerate the vehicle to 35 MPH and apply moderate brake pressure reducing your speed to under 5 MPH. Repeat this process 3 times. Next, increase speed to 50 MPH and strongly reduce speed down to 5 MPH. Ensure you don’t brake hard enough to activate the ABS or lock up the tires. You should be able to slow to 5 MPH within a few seconds. Repeat this process 4 times. IMPORTANT: DO NOT make hard high-speed stops during the bedding process, as it may cause the new friction material to overheat or glaze and possibly damage the rotors. Continue driving an additional 1-2 miles while very lightly braking to cool down the brakes. You will want to avoid heavy braking at this time so try to take a route home with minimal traffic lights or stop signs. Park the vehicle and allow the brakes to fully cool for an hour.

Great product
These brakes will stop you on a dime. And i have no brake dust. Good product. I will tell everybody how good they are!

After trying it for a month after installation, I found that it is very bad when going down slopes and operating the four-wheel drive system. With that, the brakes heat up to the point of smoking due to the heat. I do not recommend it at all.

When my Silverado 1500 OEM brakes needed replacing I bought the PowerStop Z36 kit. When those pads needed replacing (rotors still good) i tried Raybestos Ceramic Truck pads. Those pads were also very good. After those pads I tried Wagner QT pads, they are junk, put 5,000km on them and threw them in the garbage (amazon offered a refund despite being outside the return window). They squealed and were high dust. So I'm back to the power stop Z36 pads and forgot how d@mn good they are. Daily driving they feel like normal OEM pads, but when trailering or when you really need to stomp on the brakes they bite so good. Basically no dust, whisper quiet, handle heat very well. I don't think there is a better brake system for the price or even within 20-30% more expensive.
