Great dock. I use this for my hp laptop to utilize dual screens. I love that I only have to plug in one cable for two monitors, wired keyboard, webcam, and microphone. Plenty of ports and charges my laptop as well.

In need of a new desktop computer, I was introduced into using my newer laptop as a desktop by using a dock. Skeptical at first, I realized that a lot of my storage is online and thus, a large desktop wasn't necessary. This HP dock cleared up so much room and has more than ample slots for connections. My desk is sleeker and without sacrifice

Works perfect for my 2 monitor set up, only downside is it doesn’t have 2 hdmi plugs you have to use a different type of plug for your second screen

Good in theory, but according to the HP support site “ Computers with Windows 11 24H2 installed may not wake from Modern Standby (S0) or (low power idle support), Hibernation, (S4) and Power off (S5) states. This issue is exhibited when the Power button on the dock is pressed. This occurs after the computer has entered Sleep mode and is docked with the lid closed. Although the Power button LED illuminates, pressing the Power button on the dock does not wake the computer. The USB keyboard and mouse cannot wake the computer either.”There is a registry modification on that support page, but that didn’t fix the issue for me. By the way my laptop is an HP so there should be minimal compatibility issues. Maybe this will be fixed with some future Windows update, who knows?But if you are currently running Windows 11 24H2, this item may not work for you.

I wish it can support a 4th hdmi monitor.

I would expect a brand now HP product to function flawlessly and the new one I finally received direct from the seller is doing that just fine. It did take patience and a long string of messages to Amazon, though. Amazon first shipped an obviously used unit (generic brown packaging, fingerprints and scratches everywhere, HP wouldn't accept warranty registration). Reached out directly to the seller, described the issue and they sent a brand-new unit in HP-sealed packaging without any hassles. Did a great job of working with me on a delivery date to avoid delivery while out of town. Top-notch all the way around.

Bought this to connect work laptop to home office along with all my peripherals - external CD drive, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, cat-5 internet, and home laptop. Makes switching a breeze.

the design is sleek, it looks clean like the mac mini or apple TV. there is no heat problem what so ever for this dock. the single C cable provides both power and video is absolutely amazing. it works on both my mac and hp laptop.
