Small but Mighty – Just Know What You’re Getting!
Let me start by saying this bag is definitely small. Please make sure you really consider the size before buying. I’m personally super happy with it, but I can imagine that even people who expect it to be small might still find it smaller than they thought. (For reference, I’m 5’3” and it still looks small on me — that says a lot!)You really shouldn’t expect it to carry a ton. It’s more like a backup bag, or something to replace your smallest eco bag. If that’s the mindset you go in with, you might actually be pleasantly surprised at how much it holds. (Though honestly, if your smallest eco bag is already tiny, this one might still be even smaller — sorry in advance!)Also, one thing to note: if you overstuff the front pocket right under the bungee cords, it will eat into the space of the main compartment. So it’s best to keep smaller, flatter items there unless you want to lose precious room inside. To give you an idea, I’ve packed mine pretty efficiently — the photo of the fully packed bag contains everything I usually carry day-to-day plus a birthday gift for a friend. I tend to carry a lot of little things and always end up stuffing whatever bag I’m using to the brim. That’s actually why I intentionally chose a small bag — to force myself to carry less. And honestly? I love it.The internal digital device pocket? It fits my 11” iPad Pro with the official Apple keyboard folio case snugly. Like, really snugly — it’s a perfect fit with no room to spare, but it works! As for features, I’ve found the outside bungee cords handy for stashing a thin jacket or slim sneakers (I use Nike Metcons — anything bulkier probably won’t work). The side water bottle pockets? Let’s talk. Only one side has an elastic top, and to be honest, even kid-sized water bottles don’t fit well in either. I just keep my bottle inside the main compartment, and use the side pockets for smaller items like a sunscreen stick or bug repellent stick — much more practical.Oh, and inside, there’s a little mesh pocket with a key hook — super useful!

Great for daily use
I have small woman-specific sized backpacks for different purposes (photography, hiking, etc.) because small unisex backpacks just don’t fit. This mini is just right for dashing out the door. Extremely well made, good weight material, quality zippers and pulls. Northface quality. Straps extended fits perfectly for me at 5'2" tall. Slim pack design means no knocking people over in narrow aisles. Small side pockets only big enough for quick access to keys and AirPods. Interior pocket for an iPad mini, main body for a book, compact camera, shopping bag, lunch, snacks, small umbrella and/or bottle of water. Front exterior pocket has flap zipper shield, fits wallet, iPhone, charger. Padded back and lightly padded shoulder straps. All well-thought out details make this worth the high “ouch“ price and my last pack.

Great day pack
I have the larger version of this backpack too and really enjoyed many years out of it and it’s stillstill going strong so went ahead and got this small mini pack for just a day bag to use while out and about. A reminder this is the MINI version, this is not a normal sized back pack. It seems well built and the limited space is fine for using as a day pack to fit essentials in. If you’re one of those ppl who want to carry a ton with you everyday then this prob isn’t the pack for you. The space is limited for essentials only. One thing I would comment on is the price. I think it’s high for this small version. I payed around the same price for my larger normal sized North Face backpack. Also one downside is the side pocket is too small to hold a water bottle. You could fit one in the larger pockets or hook one to one the small side loops though if you wanted ( you would need a water bottle that has a clip on it though).

Doesn't fit a chrome book
I bought this to fit my daughter's Chrome book and I guess their new Chrome books are more like a laptop size now so it wouldn't zip up very well. If it had been 1 inch taller, it would have been perfect. We will be returning.

Good quality little bag
This is a good quality small backpack! The side pocket is good for holding a small umbrella but too small to fit most water bottles (though I found a 8 oz bottle that fits). I love the strong elastic of this side pocket as it prevents my bottle from falling off whenever I bend down. This bag should easily accommodate most tablets. I can put my 13" laptop into the inside back compartment, but I won't be able to zip the bag up all the way. I wish there were more pockets and compartments for better organization. I will be using this bag for day trip around town, hiking, and as my "personal item" on flights.

this bag is very tiny
to be honest i was very happy to received this order, but the bag is so tiny. It looks like it’s for a kindergarten honestly, this goes to show how these companies really will deceive you with just the picture next time you’re buying something online . Please read the description.

Great Quality!
I love this bag! I got it for me to use on the occasional outing. It holds more than you would think. I put my 32oz Owala bottle in there with a pair of flip flops and a snack. I could have fit more. The padded straps are awesome and very comfortable. I also love the inside mesh pocket for my keys. I put my phone in the front zipper section, but room for more items if needed. I didn’t use the back padded section for a device, but my iPad would have fit perfectly.I am very impressed with this bag. It is pricey, but worth it if you will use it.
