THIS THING KICKS BUTT
A Surprisingly Powerful and Precise Saw for DIY Projects As a DIY enthusiast, I often find my full-size 7.25-inch circular saw to be overkill for smaller projects and sheet goods. It's heavy, cumbersome, and can be intimidating for quick cuts. I'd been looking for a more compact and manageable solution, and this Worx WORXSAW has been an absolute game-changer for my workshop. First Impressions and Ergonomics: Right out of the box, the first thing you notice is the saw's compact size and light weight. It's incredibly easy to handle with one hand, which is a massive advantage over a traditional circular saw. The slim, inline grip is comfortable and gives you excellent control and visibility over your cut line. The build quality feels robust and durable, ready for a workshop environment. Performance and Precision: Despite its small size, this saw has plenty of power. The 4.5-amp motor cuts through 1-inch lumber and plywood without any bogging down or hesitation. Where this saw truly excels is in its precision and ease of use for plunge cuts. The depth adjustment is simple to set, and the pivoting base makes starting a cut in the middle of a panel (for things like outlets or vents) incredibly easy and much safer than with a larger saw. The included 4.5-inch, 24-tooth carbide-tipped blade leaves a surprisingly clean edge on plywood, which minimizes the need for sanding. The left-sided blade design provides a clear line of sight, so you can easily follow your marks and achieve accurate cuts every time. Key Features and Safety: The saw includes all the essential safety features you'd expect. The trigger has a safety switch to prevent accidental starts, and the blade guard functions smoothly. The adjustable depth gauge is clearly marked and easy to use, allowing for precise control over the cut depth up to 2 inches. The included parallel guide is also a nice touch for making long, straight rip cuts. Final Verdict: This compact circular saw is an outstanding tool for any DIYer or homeowner. It's not meant to replace a full-size saw for heavy-duty framing, but for breaking down sheet goods, making quick crosscuts, and especially for plunge cuts, it is an absolute joy to use. Its combination of power, precision, and user-friendly ergonomics makes it far less intimidating than a larger saw and has quickly become one of the most-used power tools on my workbench. I can't recommend it enough.

Easy To Use, Cuts as well as Full Size Circular with Better Control
This is an awesome little saw with everything you need to get straight cuts with ease. I am a petite, female, 5'2", 115lbs and do much of my own refurbishing of condo and furniture. I had a jigsaw, some handsaws that would cut butter but needed that 'extra' oomph that you get from a circular saw. However, I had broken my left wrist long ago, then have carpal tunnel on right wrist which can make it difficult after a while due to angle needed to be held. This saw seemed to be of the right size enabling easy cutting through lumber I use. It's got a smaller blade 4.5" and weight is lite but what I realized right away was the handle was straight. That might sound strange but I'd been looking for one precisely made as well as this one WITH a handle that could be folded to an angle or left straight. Having a handle that can be set to an angle makes it much easier for tired or aching joints to hold easier. Just my own experience, having very small wrists as well. The saw itself, is great, has everything you need to last years, just make sure to buy the proper saw blades for your project! Sorry I had to search again.

Caution on the 2 inch claim
Need to custom fit some furnitures in a temp apartment so I didn't want to pull out my full sized tools from home. Was easy to set up and was good to go within 15 minutes. All the adjustments were checked and tightened up. Would normally make test cuts on scraps but don't have that luxury this time. The included blade made two rip cuts for 3 ft solid wood table legs with ease using the included rip fence. However, while the product page says it cuts to 2inches, it cuts just shy of 1-3/4inch which is the width of the leg. (See photo for the rough edge on the last bit the saw didn't reach) Many reviews says it cuts 2x4s, for those who do not know, the actual dimensions for modern 2x4s are 1-1/2in x 3-1/2in. So keep that in mind when you make a choice for this saw.

I love this saw!
I do a lot of wood working for fun projects at home and I build obstacles for horse training. I was toggling between a jig saw to cut shapes and my skil saw to cut longer straighter edges from plywood and to cut through lumber. I saw the rotorazer and thought that was what I needed but didn't pull the trigger because of the price. After more research I came across this handy little saw and found it a better fit for me because of the light weight and the smaller grip. After looking at all the reviews I ordered it and haven't looked back! This is a great tool and exactly what I needed, fits smaller hands, cuts through 2x4 posts without much slowing down, and it's easy to operate with one hand. Absolutely love it. I'm so glad I didn't go with the rotorazer that is way heavier and larger than this Worx saw which is plenty for what I do and a great value for the price.

Great product for the price, easy to use
I work with 1/16” thin woods in my laser projects and find that the larger circular or jig saws tear up the wood when I am cutting out the individual squares to laser. I was leery that this compact saw would be better, but I was tired of having to manually cut out my pieces. The saw comes with a blade with 24 teeth, so I bought an additional blade with 40 teeth to do finer cuts. Since my wood is so thin, I use a work table that has two pieces of wood with a gap in the middle, anchor the wood, and cut down the middle through the gap. From the very first cut, this saw has worked perfectly - it cuts a straight cut with no chipping or tearing of the wood - either for rip or cross cuts. I love it. I also have used it to cut a 1x4 board - again worked perfectly. It is fairly light weight and easy to hold and work. So glad I found this one.

This is an excellent saw. It can indeed be used one handed. It goes through a 2x8 like butter, exactly as advertised. It's light, powerful, and precise. I got a 36 tooth blade for fine cutting work. The arbor is 3/8", worth noting for blade purchases. The only thing I miss is a thumb screw on the edge guide clamp. It has a hex head bolt, so the hex key is needed to adjust it. Overall a great purchase.

The Worx WX439L saw is a good little work horse. So far I have used it on wood siding, plywood, ABS pipes, USB and dimensional lumber. Right now I am adding trim to my house so this little lightweight but powerful saw is perfect for getting nice straight fast lines without the fatigue of a heavy 7 1/4" saw, plus it is a lot less dangerous. I was under the impression that it was on little more of an angle than it is but as long as you don't have to cut too deep than it suits my needs.
