I have micro mini aluminum blinds that are 26 years old and have always worked well. And they are all custom size. One lift string had frayed to the point of one thin string left. I was holding my breath that it wouldn’t break. I watched numerous DIY videos online how to restring a mini blind and I decided to try. There was one to determine the size string to buy as well. I followed it and made this purchase and everything is back in working order. The string is the same size and it is as strong as the original (and cleaner). While online videos suggested to fuse the old string to the new one at the end, my old string was too thin from fraying so I used scotch tape to hold the ends to slowly pull the new sting completely through. Since these blinds are no longer made, this purchase saved the day!

I have wooden blinds in my house that are about 20 years old. The pull string to raise the blinds in one of my windows broke recently. It was either buy new blinds or fix it myself. It took a long time to thread it through the whole pully system, but it worked like a charm. This saved me from buying new blinds. I have plenty of spare when the other blinds start falling apart.

The quality of the string was fine, and the size was exactly as advertised. I didn't realize that the string INSIDE my shade was a smaller diameter than the exterior string that you pull to raise/lower, so I had to return this one.

Worked better than the original cord.

It is high quality, very strong, good choice for fixing broken blinds. I feel happy to select this product after all the times I spent on searching.

It is the wrong size cord. It is too small for restringing my metal blinds. Everything else was great.
