Q: Confused!! Title at top says 40g continuous steam, manufacturer says under photo 45g continuous steam, which is correct figure?

Steam function not good - got replacement but still not good so returned item

Q: Does this iron have a cumbersome weight or is it light?

How long is a piece of string?! I am male and find the weight factor quite comfortable for an iron. I would expect "some" weight in order for the iron to function properly. My wife also finds it comfortable. I offer the thought that you should consider the function you need. A very light iron is going to need extra downward pressure to be effective.

I am not aware that it does which is surprising as the last one i owned did. In the manual it implies that it is on specific types only.

Q: Can this iron use ordinary tap water?

I use tap water and have done for previous philips steam irons. I live in a soft water area.
