Great Tool—Worth the money
I can’t put into words how valuable this little >$30 tool is. It’s saved over 3 batteries for myself and friends with its “Repair” function. It can take a while for the cycle to be complete maybe an over night thing (it may even take a day) when you’re trying to revive a bad battery but hey, it beats having to pay over $200 for a new one. It works perfectly, easy plug and play. Display is easy to read, I do recommend at least skimming over the manual to avoid any issues.

Intelligent Battery Charger that Charges!
My sister's car has a faulty alternator so her battery needs charging frequently until she can get a new alternator. She was using a battery charger from the big W retailer and it finally just stopped charging. I decided to help her out and order this Nexpeak battery charger mainly for its price point and it's pulse repair feature. It's a nice looking small box that you simply connect to the AC power and then connect to battery. It defaults to standard lead acid battery mode so first use was simple. While it's charging it it shows a diagram of a battery with bars that flash and stay lit as it charges showing 0-100% in 20% increments. On the left of the display you'll see DFS for about five minutes where it's going through a small repair mode (desulfurization stage) then begins charging. Information was shown such as the temperature of the charger, the Voltage, and Amps. It charged between 13v and 14v staying over 9 amps having the battery almost full in as little as four hours. The charger has a built in fan as well to be sure it stays optimally cool as it charges. The quality of the box is great for the price range. It's all plastic but it's not super cheap feeling and the clamps are also nice. It's small enough as well to easily take it where ever you may need it making it extremely portable. Really the only biggest draw back I can see if the AC cord is very short so either expect to have the battery very close by or grab an extension cord to hook up with it. I almost forgot the mode button on this charger too. Its a touch capacitive button which with a simple touch it will cycle modes. Those modes being STD (Standard lead acid battery), AGM/GEL, WET, Motorcycle Trickle and lastly Repair. I have seen in other reviews folks mentioning issues with the touch button in getting it to work correctly. I wonder if the issues they may be having could be due to the plastic screen protector that is on it for packaging. I removed it as soon as I took the charger out of the box and have had no issues myself. It's charged her battery up now about three times with no issues at all and soon I'm going to test the repair mode on my battery that is aging and see what results I get. Overall though for the price it's hard to beat and highly recommed!

Battery chargers have really improved over the years!
This is a battery charger. It eliminates the need to run your car after a jump start, or even to have a jump start at all including assisting your car to start in very cold weather. You do need to plug it in. But that's about all. The device electronically figures out what your battery needs and then proceeds to charge it in what it determines is the best way. So all the confusing settings and selections of my old charger are just unnecessary in addition to this one using real-time response to the battery charging and turning itself off when done. There is also a setting to effectively jump start your car, though it requries a few minutes to get the battery charged enough to just start the car. Overall these chargers likely pay for themselves if you use them just once vs. running you car for no reason to charge the battery and in avoided headaches involving low battery. They allow you to charge a low or almost dead battery without needing to bother anyone about getting a jump. And they have all the safety features you would expect today. My only criticism is that the aligator clips are a little small. They still fit the electrodes of a car battery -- but just barely -- and sometimes they pop off. Upsizing them would perfect this charger. But even so, they (I have a few of these chargers) have saved my bacon many times, avoided jumps, battery changes, getting my car started in very cold weather, and avoiding running my car to charge the battery. If you park your car somewhere you have access to an electric outlet, and ever have issues regarding your battery, this charger is an essential piece of gear.

Charges AGM and standard batteries quickly
I purchased this battery charger specifically to charge my AGM starter/accessory battery on my boat. I have a NOCO dual charger to charge the two batteries for the trolling motor, but wanted to be able to simultaneously charge the boat battery during multi-day fishing trips. My requirement was good quality, low cost, and 10A charging capability. This fits the requirements. I modified the battery cables to remove the clamps and install an SAE power connector for quick attachment to my battery from outside the boat. The wire diameter seems to be on the small side for 10A, but it should not be an issue due to the relatively short length of the cable. Compared to the NOCO charger, the wire diameter is much thinner and the cable is much shorter, which makes it a little inconvenient, but it is still (barely) long enough for my application. The AC power cable is also quite short, but an extension cord fixes this deficiency. I like the feature that it will indicate voltage and state of charge when you connect it to the battery, even without connecting it to AC power. This is useful for a quick evaluation of the battery state. Overall, I like the size, functionality, and 10A charging capability. The short cables are not an issue for my specific application, but may be too short for other applications.

Reliable.
I bought one for my fishing boat which at time sits for a few weeks. This keeps the battery fully charged and ready to go whenever I need it. It works so well that I purchased another one for my sports car that sits in the garage for a week or more at a time. Highly recommend this charger.

Excellent battery charger!
I had a 30 year old batter charger that finally gave out and I finally decided to try one of these small digital battery chargers and I am genuinely surprised at how happy I am with it! The instant you hook it up to the battery it starts testing battery and shows you the power level of your battery. Very nice. If it doesn't need charging, it doesn't do anything. But, if it does need charging, it automatically starts desulfating the battery (uses high-frequency pulses to break down and dissolve hardened lead sulfate crystals that form on the battery's plates. This improves battery performance and extends battery life. Technology is great when it works. Best $25 I've spent in a long time! I would highly recommend this charger to anyone with a 6 or 12 volt battery in their life.

Quality is questionable.
It did charge my battery, but the Mode button does not work. The reading stayed the same the whole time that it was connected.
