Good value, works as expected. I primarily use it with a Nikon Z9 and 180-600mm Zmount lens. My camera and lens balance well and it operates very smooth. No regrets at all with this purchase.

The quality of this vs the price is great, but it’s pretty heavy, so be forewarned. As much as I liked it, it made my tripod awkward to carry and I looked for another solution. Not sure what the point of the level is where they put it, it is useless, unless I am missing something.

For the most part, it functions well while using the 600 mm zoom.

I imagine there are better gimbals on the market, but this one works really well and exceeded my expectations for the price. It operates smoothly in all directions, and the adjustments are just as smooth. I used it to shoot the eclipse with a 500 mm lens and it held the camera and lens rocksteady.

Overall I am very pleased with the gimbal head. The construction is well fit and finished with no sharp edges and the pan is nice and smooth. The adjustment knobs all lock well as intended. It was delivered very well packaged with just 2 parts to assemble. Some issues to point out that need attention. - The lock knob action for the pan adjustment needs to be redesigned. Unlocked when panning is fine, although there is a little bit of slop, but upon locking, the camera will tilt enough that you will have to re-level to shoot in the locked position. This won’t be an issue for me, but it might be for others. - The instructions are horrible. No explanation of mounting to tripod. I ended up calling the tripod manufacturer to figure out how to mount it. That being said, I would purchase again.

Bonne surprise ! Ce support est vraiment de très belle facture. Le montage et l’équilibrage se font facilement, les rotations sont parfaitement fluide. Il est relativement lourd mais on sent qu'il est robuste, ce qui est plutôt rassurant. A voir dans la durée, mais on a là un produit avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Ce support est d'entrée proposé à un prix imbattable, mais ce prix peu varier de plusieurs dizaines d'euros. En étant patient et vigilant, on peut l’acquérir pour moins de 100€

I've gone out shooting birds with it a few times now, and I must say it's better than I expected when I ordered it. It's smooth and easy to adjust the balance of your lens on it, and there's a fair bit of leeway when balancing(will hold it's position very well, just got to not fully loosen the knobs). And I was worried my telephoto lens would be awkward, but it doesn't seem to need rebalancing unless you go all the way in to out(or the like). For video... Eh, I might just have not gotten the hang of it yet. I think you could get decent videos in a pinch, but might want to look at a pan/tilt head specifically for that. But if you're mainly doing stills, I think it's good enough for important moments(much better than a ball head at any rate). It is big, but it kind of has to be, and it's sturdy which also means it's rather heavy(but not ridiculously so). The worst thing is it being a bit awkward to attach to a bag(keeps bonking me on the head lol), so you might want to keep that in mind. Could always remove the head, but if you're shooting on the fly, that's kind of not an option. Probably depends on your bag, though; I have quite a small day pack I use for hiking around and it's not so bad - just have to be aware of it sticking out. Would definitely recommend it 👍 Sure beats $900 for a tripod head. Also, if you happen to have a Sigma telephoto(150-600), be aware that the plate that comes attached is just a *tiny* bit too small for the holder on the head. It will seem like it's locked in when it's not, and start to slide out as you tilt upward. I wouldn't say it's a con because you can just add the plate that comes with it, but something, again, to be aware of.

Good but it does flex with slight vibrations with a Z9 and long telephoto gear attached to the gimbal. Also annoying as once you've aimed your subject and you then tighten the knobs, it slightly shifts the axis and you need to redo your aim to accommodate for it. They need to work on their design to avoid this problem. Good value though.

I got this for my large 95mm spotting scope. None of the fluid heads I had tried were ideal. Whenever I tried to "phonescope" they would not hold the scope in the same position when I attached the phone, also in the price range I could afford none of them were very "fluid" with the weight and size of the scope. This is completely different. Although it adds quiet a bit of weight it does the job extremely well and I am very happy with it. It copes very well with my scope. I don't even have to ensure that the tripod is level as the balance it offers covers any unevenness even when panning. Great value for money.
